Deben Hawke HK3204 12110 1x25 Red Dot Gun Sight Scope

Excellent piece of kit! Fits my HW45 Silver Star no problem and has greatly improved the accuracy and consistency of my shooting. Does not impede the cocking or loading action unduly but clearly adds to the overall footprint. Seems very well made but light. The adjustable dot intensity is excellent and the optics let you see the target easily. Note that it is not a magnifying scope. It just puts a red dot over what you would normally see.

Good service from Amazon, with item received a day ahead of the estimate. The sight is well finished and does have an overall feel of quality to it. It comes complete with a screw on sun shade extension that I haven't tried yet on account of there not being much in the way of sunshine around! The split mounts fit the odd size scope rails on my HW45 without any issues. I would like to have rated this sight higher than 3 stars but I was disappointed with the red 'dot' which isn't actually a dot at all. It's really more of a small oblong blob and is also a but fuzzy. There is also some noticeable parallax error present. The parallax error isn't that much of a surprise but I was expecting a better defined dot than what is actually generated by the LED.

First used this 7 weeks after purchase and find the 'red dot' isn't a red dot but a vague triangle shape which changes according to the level of illumination selected, rendering the sight pretty useless and now already out of return timescale.

For the price it's OK but personally I don't think it's suitable for a pistol or especially the HW45. Why not for a pistol? Well, if you are expecting to hold the pistol at arm's length to shoot they the red dot diffracts badly so that it doesn't appear as a precise point with which to aim. If you put your eye up to it, as you might with a rifle, then it appears tight and precise. Why not for the HW45? Well it can't handle the recoil. The led control on mine keeps jumping after each shot - that's to say that 0 on the knob is no longer the 'off' position, in fact the off position keeps changing with each shot and it sometimes turns itself off during shooting. HAving said that it appears to hold a 'zero' well and is accurate.

Fits my HW 45 fine provided you unscrew the tightening bolts first before sliding it onto the rail .good piece of kit .

Excellent sight. easy to zero in. and for anyone out there wanting a 'reasonably priced' red-dot to fit their HW45, with a very small mod it's a good'un. Small aside on mounts.... The sight mount says it fits 9 to 11mm I have an Weihrauch HW45 and the rail on that is 13. I used a small strip of self amalgamating tape (thinnest rubber i could put my hands on) around the scope barrel and it tightens up just sweet :) saved a packet on bigger mounts! Oh & considering how challenging an HW45 is to shoot, my accuracy is immediately way up on the sock sights.... can't wait to see how good it gets with a little practice!

Well, what an awesome piece of kit for the money! So much better than iron sights and much more fun and, following much deliberation on here, fitted beautifully on my Artemis PP700SA (with a 12mm dovetail). Simply put, It is the perfect red dot for target shooting/garden plinking. BTW, the dot isn’t quite round, I looks more like a miniature Saturn! (hope this makes sense!). Also, please be clear, this does not zoom or magnify in any way whatsoever, it just produces a tiny red dot inside the scope barrel that can only be seen by the shooter. The dot has to be set up in the same way you would set up the cross hairs on a conversational scope. It’s a bargain! Massive well done to Deben. Highly Recomended.

very good if you have perfect vision. Very well made, Fast and accurate and easy to zero the red dot. If you need magnified image try one the their magnifying scopes.
