PEBEO 295-010 Setacolor Opaque Watercolour Fabric Paint Bottle, Titanium White, 45-Milliliter

Peter rabbit's jacket needed a refresh, great colour and paint.

I bought it to paint some line drawing designs on my old t-shirts and it sure does the job. I've never used any fabric paint before so I was nervous of how it would turn out, but I was impressed with the paint itself; it's opaque and smooth to apply with. From the moment you put the paint onto the fabric it really adheres to it, so you do have to be slow and precise on how you would like to paint it, although that isn't a bad thing at all! Once I heat set it and threw them into the wash it 100% stayed on- no fading whatsoever! The colour payoff is fantastic as I don't need much to layer the colour to make it a true solid colour for sure! Absolutely impressed!

Tbh I didn't want to do anything crazy with it, I just wanted to be Mongo from Shrek, but can confirm it did a great job for my DIY costume and my friends thought I'd bought a costume specially made for the character rather painting it on myself. I will warn you to make sure that you have something underneath the layer of fabric you're painting as it did seep through for me (might be dependant on what you're painting idk), but I figured it would and some cardboard underneath worked a treat. Needed a couple layers but overall I'm happy with my purchase.

Priced fairly, the paint is nice, easy to use and good drying time but it lasts a long time on an item before you need to reapply, so it functions as intended.

Used to paint Incredibles logo onto costumes, really easy to apply, good quality paint and looks good after just one coat as the coverage is thick. Dried pretty quickly too.

A more orangey red than I expected but coverage was fine, dried fairly quickly.

It does require more than one coat to get the white colour to really pop. Used it on a black hoodie I've altered and holds up really well, used around 3 layers. Washed inside out on the lowest temp setting and had no issues. The bottle is small so plan out how many coats or coverage you'll be needing and the amount you'll get.

I’ve never used fabric paint before but I needed to make a shirt to match others as part of a team uniform, so I ordered this one. I ordered two bottles because I wasn’t sure how much I’d need. I only used about a quarter to half of one bottle doing all the text on this shirt, and I went over each letter several times to make sure the paint was super opaque, so the amount of product for money is great value! After the paint dried I used a hot dry iron on it, with a spare cloth between the shirt and my iron to protect the iron (very important, as the iron’s plate will get sticky otherwise). It took more than the five minutes the instructions said I think, but I also did several coats of paint instead of just one. After ironing, the paint feels smooth and basically indistinguishable from a professionally printed graphic t-shirt. I haven’t tried washing the shirt yet, but I’m confident that it will be just fine. I would order this again, and definitely recommend it. Any paint brush you have around the house works fine. It can dry and get chunky on the brush so be sure to have a cup of water and paper towel at hand to rinse and wipe the bristles clean every so often. Enjoy!

Die Farbe hält bis jetzt sehr gut auf dem Stoff, aber das Bügeln ist beschwerlich, auf der Flasche steht, nach 5min bügeln, aber die Farbe ist dann noch nicht trocken und löst sich ab. Nach dem vollständigen trocknen, mindestens 1/2 Stunde geht es gut!

Someone in a forum recommended this solution to seal the pin holes on the shutter curtains of my exakta film camera. And now that I have tested it I must confirm that it works. Time will tell if this is a permanent solution or not.
