'Uhren-Park Eble'; Black Forest cuckoo clock made of wood; battery operated quartz movement; cuckoo chime

I ordered this clock after seeing a similar one for sale in a little shop in Brugge , I was very unsure whether the quality would be good but because it said it was made in Germany I decided to go ahead knowing I could return it if I wasn’t happy. The clock arrived yesterday and I absolutely love it, it’s beautifully made …. of wood mostly except for the pendulum cones, The cuckoo call on the hour is lovely Definitely a very good buy

I have had this for two months and I can honestly say what a lovely clock it’s beautifully made and keeps very good time the cuckoo chime is lovely it has an echo and there is the sound of a stream. I would definitely buy this again

Very beautiful cuckoo clock from the Black Forest. Very good workmanship at a reasonable price. The cuckoo call is very pleasant. You can make it quieter or even turn it off completely. Through the battery drive I do not have to wind up the clock every day - very comfortable. I'll buy another cuckoo clock for my mother.

Having just returned from The Black Forest, we saw hundreds of cuckoo clocks but were shocked at the price charged by the tourist shops and by the 30 Euro charge for carriage to UK so, back at our B & B, we checked Amazon and ordered this one, which arrived at our home in UK the day after we returned. We paid around 50% of the price we would have paid in Germany for the same clock + carriage, made by a respected manufacturer in one of the numerous Black Forest factories and smaller workshops - we drove past the Park Eble factory where our's was made. The buyer must make the choice between an electronic clock or the original clockwork type. Clockwork clocks have two tiny bellows to produce the birdsong but they all had unnaturally fast calls. They need to be wound daily (three counterweights - clock, bellows and cuckoo and door), though 8-day clocks are available. We chose this electronic clock which seems to have a recording of a real cuckoo, with echo, and is powered by two C-type batteries. There is a swinging wooden pendulum but the counterweights (plastic) are for visual effect only. There is a very similar but slightly smaller clock at around £10 less. We are delighted with our clock (so is our cat) and recommend it without hesitation.

Really easy to set up and live with. I like the automatic night setting, so it doesn’t wake you up, and it’s relaxing to hear the cuckoo in the background during the day. The quality is very good (apart from the snowballs - which looked like a piece snapped off). Very happy overall, and would recommend.

read the reviews on this clock which were all good. now i have bought one i can see why. it,s not too bog, notover the top but does everything you want from a cuckoo clock. my wife loves it.

This is a fantastic looking clock all the way from the Black Forest in Germany, a Christmas present. And it’s got a pleasant cookcoo sound and if you close your eyes you would think you were there listening to the real thing in the forest. Highly recommended

Es un pieza que en relación costo y calidad vale la pena totalmente. Su funcionamiento es muy preciso y su sonido es muy relajante. Solo hubo un detalle que dos de los pinos que vienen como parte de la decoración venían despegados pero con un poco de cola loca los peque y listo. La pieza es totalmente de madera excepto los piñones que son como de plástico; pero en verdad es una pieza linda. Quede muy contento con mi compra. Siempre quise tener uno 🫶🤗✌🏼😜

Sono rimasto davvero impressionato dalla qualità di questo cucu. Un bel suono, fatto davvero bene in tutti i dettagli. L'abbiamo messo nella casa in montagna e fa il suo bel figurone. Anche molto preciso. Tutto corrisponde con la descrizione del prodotto

Los cucos son aves parasitadoras en donde las hembras siempre dejan el huevo en un nido que no es suyo para que sea una madre no biológica la que se encargue de criar a sus crías.Esto es lo que siento al haber recibido el envío, un producto que ha llegado muy bien embalado y sumamente protegido para evitar cualquier daño.Viene separado en cuatro piezas: el campanario,las dos pesas las cuales no son de madera y el péndulo.La altura total es la de 60 cm, dispone de una profundidad de 15 cm y una anchura de 28 cm.Lleva insertado un sensor para desconectar el sonido al no haber luminosidad el cual está colocado en el número XII y funciona a la perfección.En el lateral izquierdo dispone de una chapa con un selector para poder establecer el modo de soniquete: Alto/Bajo/Desconectado.El sonido que emite es la reproducción de acuerdo a la señal horaria del famoso "Cu-cú" entrelazado por un sonido suave en donde se presienten los pasos y los saltos del agua jugando con las piedras formando distintos dibujos meándricos acústicos marcados por el ritmo del camino que traza el riachuelo y se acompaña al compás de un hermoso eco, como si los verbos que salen del ave retornasen a su madriguera cuando se recoge tras cerrar las puertas y no volver aparecer hasta tener 60 minutos más de experiencia.Lo he dejado puesto en el modo más alto, pues en realidad no molesta para nada y su sonido es muy agradable.Es un reloj bastante exacto al ser de cuarzo el cual necesita de dos pilas tipo C (LR14) para poder funcionar las cuales no vienen incluidas.En cuanto al detalle está bastante bien conseguido y a mi en particular en vez de un pájaro amarillo que figura en la zona inferior de la casa que sale en la imagen me ha venido una liebre en su lugar, pero el resultado y el acabado es igual de espectacular. Para terminar decir que este artículo no dispone de los últimos adelantos tecnológicos pues únicamente nos dará la hora, pero la transmisión de su ideal a través de la belleza hecha a mano te llegará a engañar y lo llegarás a cuidar como si te fuera la vida en ello, pues te aniquila el estrés que te rodea y te sentirás mucho mejor al desprenderte de todo aquello que ocupa espacio y no necesitas.Lo malo de todo esto es que muchas veces es muy difícil llegar a entender lo simple pero si lo llegas a captar, quizá te llegues a conocer mejor; y no te dejarás convencer por lo mayoritariamente aceptado una vez más.
