Well, you can't fault Amazon on the delivery - ordered late Friday night, delivered midday Saturday.This style/design/product is available from a number of different suppliers at the same price point; I selected this supplier as they could deliver (the black seated version) the next day.Assembled by OtherHalf (OH), who reported that although the parts were quite cheaply made (which is completely understandable at this price point), the product was well designed and relatively easy to put together.OH suggests that - against the advice of the instruction sheet - you don't totally tighten the legs on until after you've inserted the round foot plate.Comfortable to sit on. Although a little high (as many of the reviews point out), other prospective purchasers should note that the front of the seat is actually just over 70-odd cm, and the 80+cm height actually refers to the back (highest part) of the seat.All in all, happy with my purchase.Update: Several weeks in, still v v happy with these stools!

The stools are slightly taller than stated, but I am going to have to take something off the bottom, but they are very comfortable. Very good looking, well made and smart. Its just my breakfast bar that appears to be lower so we are sat on them very high, its still o.k. but when we take an inch of the bottom will be better. I didn't want to return them because they are really good looking.

The chairs themselves are what you would expect for the price the major problem being the screws provided we’re useless (poor quality) so I had to source my own screws not really good enough I think. You have been warned

These were a doddle to assemble, all well packed and no marks or damage. All the parts were easy to identify and as I said really easy to assemble, they are great lookers too and are strong and sturdy, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them

These are good value - sturdy. fairly easy to assemble - tool provided. One seat arrived cracked despite heavy packaging - was replaced the next day by courier. Great service!
