I normally purchase my velvet drapes from Potterybarn, but when we renovated and increased our ceiling height to 9+ feet with a 40 foot wall full of windows and doors, we simply were not willing to pay the exorbitant price to cover the entire wall. We decided to try this brand when we saw these on Amazon and I have say, the quality is as good if not better than the PB velvet drapes at a discount of more than 1/2 the price of what we would have paid for double wide 108" velvet drapes. When the drapes arrived the color was did not match the walls of our home, but we loved these drapes so much and the price was so incredibly low, that we decided to repaint the room to match the drapes. These drapes come with a pole pocket in back, which is how we chose to hang them, and a weighted hem. Love them!

Got the 100 x 108 in cool beige. Color that I received is slightly warmer than what was shown. Still gorgeous- thick and heavy and hangs so nicely. Other than a slightly warmer color, looks just like the picture advertised.

I like these drapes very much and actually think it a four star product; however, I am sort of troubled by the orgiastic reviews of this product as there are certainly some issues to consider. First, these are essentially two 50" drapes joined together to make a 100" width panel and the stitching at the seam joining the two pieces are fairly obvious. I don't mind this particularly as I much prefer a single 100" panel over two overlapping 50" panels and, further, I was able to fold the panel in such a way as to largely conceal the very obvious seam. Please note that I've also read that people have complained about the seam being badly sewn together - I didn't have this issue. My panels were much more muted in color - more of an earth tone than the amber depicted in the accompanying photograph. Several reviewers elsewhere have also commented on this. Again, I was happy with the more muted color, but it's certainly something you might want to consider. On the other hand, I've read of reviewers being impressed by the very rich amber color - so perhaps the batches are different. I am VERY impressed by the weight of fabric and its effectiveness against drafts. I am assuming it will do the same for the summer heat - should summer ever arrive. I found that the drapes do not totally block out direct sunlight as many other reviewers have suggested - I'd say about 70%, however, this again suits my purposes. One thing I've not seen noted was the fact my panel arrived very wrinkled. These panels are dry clean only and I was very nervous about ironing a fabric with a high pile. Instead, I used my professional clothes steamer and steamed the inner white lining. It was time consuming, but doing so enhanced the curb appeal from the outside and solved what I thought were imperfections in the velvet fabric. Simply hanging them with me in the shower really didn't do much (this was also suggested) because it's a fairly thick fabric. Generally, I was pleased. I think I was expecting a great deal more given the almost universal praise I've read about this product. I've seen better - usually in the homes of the more affluent who have had their window treatments custom-made with better quality "velvet" fabric. This isn't top notch fabric, though it's good, so don't expect Downton Abbey. But for the price, I think it's a very good purchase especially if you're aiming for such an effect.

These are my favorite curtains! They are incredibly beautiful and full. We get so many compliments on them. Would highly recommend.

Very happy with these drapes. They pleat and hang beautifully. Bought 2 panels for a double window. Put them on a 2 inch diameter wood drapery pole using the back tabs, picture shows how nice they pleat with minimum fuss. Mine were not wrinkled as some reviewers said theirs were. Great Burgandy color, almost perfect match for my Burgandy Aubusson rug. Still looking for a pair of tassel tiebacks to match, using beige ones for now. I could never have bought fabric and hired someone to make these for what I paid Amazon for these 2 panels.

I have just purchased window treatments for our new house and have also purchased custom velvet drapes for the great room and it was expensive to say the least! For the office which was the last room to get furnished I figured I’ll try buying these and let me tell you these are some heavy, think great quality velvet drapes- for a fraction of a price. I think my custom drapes were like 3k for a pair And 4 of these drapes were like 400$, so yeah it’s defiantly the way to go. Honestly I can’t tell the difference between these and some of our RH velvet drapes. I would order without hesitation it’s a smart way to go. On the back they have a pole pocket, or you can use drape hooks I used drape hooks with 4 prongs for a pleated look.

the doublewide curtain is not made 100 wide, they are just 2 separate 50 wide drape and joined together, the quality is not bad but i prefer a single 100" panel over two 50" panels, so make sure you do like these otherwise you have to pay the return shipping fee if you wise to return it.

Would you like to have drapes that feel like a baby blanket? Maybe some that remind you of your favorite stuffie? Then you are in luck!! These drapes are incredible!I wanted something for my office which doubles as a guest space--so I wanted black-out for privacy, but not something that overwhelmed the space. When I received the drapes and hung them (I chose the tab method, but you could also put the rod straight through), I was impressed with the heft of the drape. These are not cheap, flimsy, bargain material--these made me feel so proud to have them as my drapes. Is it weird to take pride in drapes? Maybe, but now that I've felt that feeling, I'll never go back.The drapes are lined and don't have any weird smell. I would recommend ironing or steaming them first to get the wrinkles out, but once you do, you might just crawl up in them and use them as a TV blanket instead. Okay, but I only did that for TWO days!

These velvet drapes exceeded my expectations in every way. They are weighted beautifully. I literally hung them within minutes and they look exquisite. As an FYI, there is no sheen which is typical of less expensive drapery. They look as good if not better than those from Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn - both of which I own. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. Wish I had bought them earlier.

Be careful that each package includes only one panel! I'm still waiting for my second one!The quality is good, but it's super heavy!
