Worked for a year before failing.
This replaced a thermostat that was clearly faulty, not switching, and allowing hot water to reach scalding temperatures. Today I've had exactly the the same problem. Can hear the water reaching boiling point (like a kettle sounds) and a tap on the casing made the thermostat switch the power off, so clearly not operating as it should. Bought July 2018 so outside of any warranty I may or may not have had.
