I bought these to go with my Amazon Echo to control some Lighting in our home and garden and up to now, they're working brilliantly! Whether using the free to download app or being controlled directly through 'Alexa' on our Amazon Echo it's brilliant. I've set one up to control the accent lighting in our garden and summer house simply by saying 'Alexa, garden lights on' and it's done, and when I'm done it's simply, Alexa, garden lights off' Simple's !!! I've set up a table lamp which either myself or my wife can switch on and off using voice control (via Amazon Echo) or by the free to download smartphone/tablet app while on holiday abroad or even out shopping. This is the technology that was shown in sci-fi movies of 30-40 years ago and we're using it now and for real in our everyday lives. I'm currently experimenting (playing) with various other ideas and devices around the home and it's impressed the hell out of my family and friends! These particular WiFi plugs were a recommended item on Amazon which had some pretty good reviews compared to some others although they looked identical. If they don't work, send them back, easy! I found these really easy to set-up simply by using the QR code supplied on the paperwork! However, I did have to change the bandwidth on my Virgin Super hub from 5ghz to 2.4ghz in order for it to work! (It requires 2.4ghz) but it was no hassle and it didn't affect anything else detrimentally. Brilliant bit of kit up to now but I've not had them long, so time will tell I guess!

These work brilliantly. First install the "eFamilyCloud" app on your smart phone, plug it in and it flashes straight away and was instantly paired, give it your wifi password and bingo! I think it took me 30 seconds to set up.If you have an Echo you need to install the eFamilyCloud skill in the Alexa app. It works perfectly with Alexa too.I've bought 2 more packs since and have recommened to friends and family.

I have 4 different types of these sockets. They all do the same job. However, these were by far the easiest to set up. Scan the QR code, install the app, add the device. Simple. Took about 2 minutes to do all 3 sockets. Easy to program on / off schedule. Even has various scenes to program so you can control lots of lights with one touch of a button. I have ordered another set of 3 already.

Product took sometime to come as I did not realise it was from China. Not sure how they sorted the customs duty but that was not a problem. Not that easy to set up and I know a bit about IT. Having said that the customers service was very helpful and I managed to get them working, which they do very well now that they are set up.Update - I had trouble connecting initially then they sent me advice to connect and this worked perfectly for a while. However, I had to split my network into 5ghz and 2.4ghz. My other connections that needed 5ghz got confused and everything started disconnecting. I have now uninstalled these switches and everything is working fine now. They come from outside the EU, so not that convenient to return and I am not gong to bother. I think it's healthier on my mental and physical state to walk over, bend down and turn on/off!

Cant get it to work with my virgin hub- very disappointing and I have tried over 10 times now close to giving up and returning this product.

Very disappointed. These worked for just under 6 months. Now they both won’t turn off when you command them to. I now have to resort to manually switching them of which defeats the object of smart plugs. I have contacted the company who have stalled in providing a refund or even a refund. Still no resolution despite contacting!

Received these today.... brilliant. Downloaded the App (if you are using your iPad, make sure you select it so you can see iPhone apps too, else you won’t find it).Delivery and packaging great.Didn’t take me long to plug in and read the instructions.Once the app was working and id connect to my router - ensure you have 2.4ghz enabled and know your password before set up, else you’ll get frustrated.If you can use a gang lead and plug one in, pair, then the next, pair and then the next pair.Make sure you rename them and know which one is which.If you wish to use with Alexa, read the info, enable the Skill and ensure you have the plugs ALL plugged in so it can find them all, making the pairing with Alexa easier.Once everything is paired to the app and Alexa, they are great.I’ve replaced an old manual timer plug as well as used one to operate a manual fan - enabling me to set the speed on the fan manually and then when needed turn on and off.Works perfectly over 3G / 4G, just ensure when you’ve set up your app account, you go back in and add your mobile number so it can pair your phone with your account.It was a pretty easy and quick set up for me (I am tech savvy) but it should still be straight forward if you take your time and don’t try and do it all at the same time.Exactly what I expected and works as id expected, so 5 out of 5

After ordering and setting up my plugs, which are great!, my daughter wanted them for her place so I had to 'donate' them. I now have 2 new ones and several friends and family are now ordering them. If you set up on your phone and use VPN on the phone - disable the VPN and it will easily connect. Highly recommended.

Bought these to work with my Alexa and they're excellent, took literally 5 minutes to set up all three plugs and they work perfectly.I would definitely recommend them

Ordered these to replace mechanical timers on lamps, no problems at all with very easy set up via app.

These won't work....it says something like....can only connect to 2.4hrtz....I've sky plus and I'm not a tec person.....

There great and they connect to alexa really easy

Total pain in the backside to set up. Still have not been able to link it to alexa,Seriously thinking of smashing them up with a sledge hammer,Over complicated...

Great smart plugs I use one on the lamp in lounge one on my slow cooker so I can have a hot meal cooked when I get home and one on the electric fire. Love them app is easy to use

Very cheap, I was concerned but they work brilliantly definitely 5 star, no drop outs and connected them to Amazon dot very easily.
