Give this product lots of time and keep watering.
I have held back on reviewing this item as initially I though it was a complete waste of time...but now, some months after sowing, I am seeing results. I tried it in several different locations - in containers and in an empty row in my veg patch. I think the secret is to water all the time. The results I am now seeing follow a few weeks of near continuous rain. Just hoping for a little bit more summer so I can enjoy the lovely colours (I bought the blue mix which contains cornflowers, love in the mist and many others.

We shall just have to wait and see...
In principle, I LOVE this simple solution for the gardening dufus. Bought two jugs and applied them liberally to my sad and empty terracotta pots. Three weeks later, tiny green shoots are now appearing. I keep watching them, which is a bit tedious. If I'm as happy as the Boden-style mum in the adverts a fortnight hence, I'll be delighted and will review this review.

Waste of time, money and water
I scattered this mixture at the beginning of June, following the instructions to the letter. Although I don't like them, I also scattered slug pellets. Four weeks later there were a very few seedlings and lots of weeds. Three weeks ago I reapplied the mixture and to date there are one or two unidentified plants of about 4 inches high and a few that are 2 inches which might turn out to be nigella. Very disappointing as it had sounded like a good idea but it simply doesn't work.

Miracle Gro Flower Mix
I purchased 2 of these items, as their shown in different colour packs, I thought they contained different plants, but they were exactly the same. \in addition they did not have planting instructions or care details, therefore I was dissapointed as I have bought miracle gro products before and have always been very impressed.

Useless
These seemed such a great idea - a lovely mix of seeds with some growing compost and were easy to shake around my pre weeded border.I thought the pack was rather expensive for basic seeds and a bit of compost but I thought it would give a lovely meadow flower effect. I watered as directed and some seedlings eventually seemed to have sprouted. However these turned out to be weeds that had sprouted in the lovely compost. Not one meadow flower grew to bloom. A complete waste of money. My son and I were really disappointed and although we are not expert gardnerswe are usually successful with other flowers, shrubs and herbs and though this product would be idiot proof.
