I had to clean up after a rodent problem and I use these during the cleanup process. They worked great. I couldn’t smell anything so I knew that they were working really well because the area stunk. They fit well and it’s easy to breathe.

These are not a replacement or a substitute for a fully featured respirator. But if this is all you can get, it's the next best thing for keeping particulates (in plain English: dirt) out of your lungs. They seal well so that contaminated air does not get past the filter. Air draws easily through the filter material; I don't have to gasp for air. I can breathe normally all the way until the mask becomes unusable. The exhalation port is the best (and my favorite) feature. It eliminates the heat and moisture build-up inside the mask, making it much more comfortable to wear for extended periods than the solid cloth or filter paper masks. I'm not in love with the two strap over the head elastic band system that holds the mask in place, but it does keep the mask firmly in position. it does filter very well. After a few uses, or use in very dusty/dirty conditions, I can see the particles all over the outside of the mask. It even filters pollen. I have allergies and there have been times when mowing the lawn induced an attack. I run inside the garage, put on the mask, and within fifteen minutes of resting, the attack disappears and I can work outside using the mask for the rest of the day in complete comfort. These masks are also durable and, depending on condition, be used multiple times. These are an inexpensive way to protect yourself.

We have several different chicken coops, and this requires regular cleanup. My husband swears by this exact model, and we trust the brand and protection that it provides. Overall, the fit and comfort works and he states the smell is minimized while on poop patrol. Also, the adjustable elastic bands on the side make it so that he can have it fit snuggly without being too tight or too loose, providing the protection that is needed. Buying in bulk for a better price is the way to go if you have various projects that you need to protect your lungs from breathing in.

I bought these for when we had the big fires in california and the air quality was AWFUL and unheatlhy. I give it 5 stars on protecting you from crap in the air and making it easy to breath while wearing the mask. but I give it 3 stars for the overall comfort and packaging. The packing is terrible and fell apart after I opened it, minor issue. The straps on the back are a bit uncomfortable wearing it for a long time and hard to move it down or up to get it off your face when you are in doors but don't want to take it off completely. But the big part that moved it down from 5 stars is while the cushioning on the inside make it comfortable, padding also prevented it from getting super tight on my face (where you pinch it near the bridge of the noise) and my friend who doesn't have a big noise had even more trouble then I did. It would be also nice to have something in the box that told you how long they last or if you need to replace it after X hours etc.. Overall they work great so I do recommend them but if you are looking for something that is adjustable, fits everyone, or doesn't get a little slimy on the inside after wearing it for hours, these may not be your best choice. All in all being able to breath is the most important thing and being able to do so without inhaling horrible smoke, so for that alone this would get a 5 out of 5.

I have a lung disease and for quite some time it’s been a struggle to do yard work or other dusty type house cleaning. I went out on a limb and bought these. I put one on to do yard work. I felt it was a bit hard to breathe, kind of suffocating. But I ignored it and pressed on. I live in the desert. I used a hula hoe, clouds and clouds of dirt surrounded me, and this mask kept me 100% safe. I was no longer noticing “how hard it was to breathe) because I could breathe so clearly once the dust flew. I was actually able to do half the yard instead of patches and heave for air. I’m a fan and I’ll buy these always. So grateful someone was able to put good thought into its creation.

Sometimes, when I'm mowing the grass in the spring, I seen pollen in the air like a white cloud. A mask like this helps me not have such a bad allergic reaction to the heavy pollen. The exhaust valve on the front makes the mask work much better, because it doesn't get as steamy inside. The masks are very well made too, so the rubber bands don't break off. The edges are pressed in a way that makes them fit better against my face, and the little metal thing across the bridge of my nose has a special shape that makes it fit better then the cheap, blue covid masks. The masks are much thicker than I expected. They work very well.

I work in a VERY dusty environment and these filters are very effective while not being too heavy or restrictive. I will wear one for 4-8 hours at a time so fatigue is an issue with other larger and heavier masks.

Unless I’m exerting really hard in cold weather the vent on these masks works well to keep my glasses from fogging up. They fit very well and are reasonably light weight and not too bulky. The single, around the head, strap works better than the ones with loops around the ears as I wear hearing aids. They filter very well and don’t seem to restrict my breathing. The white color makes it easy to see when they need to be discarded. Here’s a tip, don’t try to eat or drink with them on. Don’t ask me how I know.
