It is a great book

Beautiful book and story just like the one I had when I was a child!

This book was a classic for my daughters, and now for my little granddaughter.

We originally got this book + cd from the library. Loved them so much and were still talking about the extra French songs months later. Unable to find good equivalents on YouTube, I searched and found this same Puffin Audio set as our library. Highly highly recommend for if you enjoy listening to books and songs in the car. My 2 year old and 4 year old sing along or at least try too. It’s also nice that they’re a break from the typical kids songs of today. The story part has a ding to follow along in the book. The 4 year old has a little trouble keeping up but I think she’ll get the hang of it soon. Love the narration too! If you’ve read Madeline out loud before, you may remember that some of the rhymes/cadences/flow of the book are a bit awkward so I really love that the narrators do such a good job.

Purchased for our granddaughter-to-be, given to her mom at her baby shower, the book is big and the illustrations are exactly as charming as I remember. Arrived promptly in good condition. A great gift.
