Amazon Basics Nintendo Switch Case Holder, Fits OLED, Hard Shell Travel Storage, Black, 12 x 4.8 x 9 Inches

Hello I had got this case as a means to transport my Nintendo switch around town/wherever I want to bring my whole system setup (the dock charger and a extra controller) I have a black version and I like the rubber handle makes it easy and comftable to carry around. As for the outer shell it’s wrapped around a fabric so far it has not ripped on me or get caught on anything or have any tears ect. As for the material under it is a “clamshell” case and has a hard plastic surround under the fabric. It is definitely not gonna survive a car running it over but for your basic banged up against a wall or maybe a drop or two I am very confident in the case ability to protect the switch especially if you have it maybe in a backpack or in a car going somewhere. Just like the photos it has cutouts that go around your system so only the regular joycons would fit. Maybe if you were to try and fit the 3rd party joycons (maybe a hori split pad pro) in substitution of the pro controller cut out could something like that be possible. Also no aftermarket cases for the joycons would work (my joycons have a transparent clear case that has a ridge or “bubble” the gives me more space to grab the regular joycons” that would have to be removed in order to transport inside the case. Also no 3rd party controllers can be used only the official Nintendo pro controller would fit but everything else the dock and cables ect all fit inside in a nice convenient case. Thanks Amazon

This is a perfect case for the Nintendo Switch. It has divided sections that are specifically designed for each piece of the game console. There is a slot for the charging dock, game controllers, controller connector, the screen, cords, plus many games. Sorry I don't know the exact names of all those things, but you get the picture. It can hold all the basics/ essentials!One very minor downside to that is that there is very little room for anything else. So if you only want to carry the basic setup and a few games (which is all you really need), then this case is perfect! But if you want to use the case to carry anything else, then it won't work.The case is sturdy, and has a hard outer shell. The color is a simple black but I was thinking of painting a design on mine.The best part is that it is a much better price for the exact same case that Nintendo sells, just without the colors and branding. So if that doesn't matter to you or you're trying to save a few dollars, then I highly recommend this case!

Came in the mail today. Decided to use it to bring my Switch to a friend's place so we could play some Overcooked and I could show off my spiffy pretty new lunchbox.As soon as I got it in the mail I decided to try it out (obviously).As soon as I had my Switch all nice and zipped up I dropped it down the stairs (because of course I would).The insides were a barely jumbled around at all. Zero damage (the case how has a scuff or two however).Pros:Fits everything I need, reallyDurable- The thing didn't explode on it's way down to the first floor and protected all the good bits inside.It's my favorite color <3Cons:It now has some battle scars from taking the fast way downstairs and I'm not sure how to clean it.Neutral:Looks like a lunchbox5/5 Stars, would drop kick again.

For the money, this is pretty good! I also like that the red is rather shiny even though that’s hard to tell in the images. I had to get a little creative but was able to fit everything I wanted/needed. The one downside is that the switch itself doesn’t sit very deep into the insert so it has the potential to wiggle a bit back and forth. I think I’ll just stick a long sock in front of the screen to provide a little extra support in case it does wiggle. While it could always be a sturdier case, I think this is great if you’re just needing to take your whole kit safely from one place to the next. You might be able to even use it as a carry on if you’re flying (but don’t put it overhead, it would get squished by heavy luggage). Here’s everything I was able to fit: the switch with both joy-cons attached, the dock, an HDMI cable inside the dock, a USB-C cable between the dock and switch, a pro-controller, one Joy-Con behind the pro-controller, the power cord, a small game case, 4 wrist straps, and the grip with 1 Joy-Con inside with it hooked under one of the side elastics.

Its a great case!!! In comparison to the original official Switch case it has 1 plus & 1 con... First the con, in the front slot for the Switch its very snug so if you have a joycon that slides off kind of easily, it will come lose when placing in the slot, otherwise perfect and may not really be a con just a con for my damaged joycon… Now on to the Plus, which is why I gave this product 5 stars is because on the sides where you would place the power adapter and HDMI cable as well as the usb-c cable there are elastic bands to hold those items in place,its a much need improvement over the original as well as the sponge padding on the roof of the case to give that extra level of protection...Great job Amazon on improving on a product, keep it up this is what I like to see in the items you sell....

Decent size storage case. I like the sturdiness and quality of the case. Amazon did a great job with protection and quality. Well padded and when it zips it creates a seal almost so it's very sleek. I would have liked to get the Nintendo Version but this one is more discrete.It's not too heavy with everything in it. It takes some getting used to trying to put everything in a certain way, mainly the AC Adapter since it is clunky. But overall feels great for the price and what I can carry. I've used it 6 times already, bringing it over to my friend's houses multiple times. I would like to see maybe an updated version to place game cartridges somewhere. Of course you could get a case for those separately and it'll be fine in the case but it would be cool to see that in future versions so new owners don't have to shell out more cash and carry more accessories.
