I am always a little nervous to try a new hair product, but I am glad I tried this one. I have very straight hair with a short cut and this pomade has just the right hold, texture, and finish. I like the added volumn this pomade adds compared to my old product. The finish is a clean matte without any residue or flakes. I like the way it feels and how quickly it is absorbed into my hair. My hair stylist asked what brand of pomade I was using because she really liked the texture and volumn it added to my hair. Great product. Quick shipment - came just as ordered. I am going to order more now for holiday stocking stuffers.

So, sounds kind of funny but I have been looking around and trying to find a product that was a real matte finish with minimal shine. This is it, I will continue to use this product moving forward. Works well, good hold without being like glue, very low shine and easy to wash out of both hands and hair. Well done - you now have a repeat customer until my hairline becomes non-existent!

Seems like a good product, but not a great product for someone looking for a strong hold who has thick hair. Doesn't hold well, but probably works for thinner hair.

very good product, i started to try different styling product for about 1 year already, this is definitely a product could be your go-to choice nice package, pleasant and mild smell (smells like regular lotion) its very light, but holds pretty well (I am an Asian, so typically, my hair is thick ) very easy to wash off, water is good enough i have been using it for about 1-2 weeks, still think it is a pretty solid product;

This is not a clay hair product. It is not stiff, but wet and "relaxed". Too expensive.

My barber is always sharing tips for styling my hair. Using a clay pomade was new to me, but I really like it over the usual men's pomade products. I'm a middle-aged guy with thick, gray hair. I always joke that at least I still have hair, even though it's gray! I usually lean towards pomades that add a bit of shine because nothing looks worse than dull, gray hair. Trust me on this! However, I've really been unhappy with the greasy, shoe polish type pomade products out there, so I decided to try this new clay pomade, which was similar to the clay product my barber recommended (but didn't have in stock). I was very pleasantly surprised. It has great hold and allows you the ability to shape and style your hair. I would say it's a medium hold and while you can run your fingers through your hair at the end of the day and know there's product in your hair, this one doesn't make you want to get up and wash your hands. It's definitely a dryer, matte finish and light in your hair. The pomade is gray in color, but once you put it in your hands and rub them together, it virtually disappears. I don't know why people would think a pomade would change the color of your hair, but I can assure you this does not change the color of your hair. After using this, I like that it's a natural looking hold. It's not shiny or greasy looking, so you get the hold of a pomade, but it's a matte finish, so it looks like you aren't using any product at all. My only complaint is the smell. It has a perfume smell that I don't like for a men's hair product. Thankfully, the smell dissipates within a few minutes and is not overpowering. I wish they'd consider minimizing that or changing it to something more agreeable to men. I'd be fine with a scentless version that simply smelled like clay. Other than that one minor complaint, it's a great product and I've been very happy with my purchase!

When i got this product it came in super creamy to where when i ran the product through my hair there was no tug. Also after using the entire thing i found my hair looks a lot better when i apply it when my hair is almost completely dry. If you apply it when your hair is to wet it might cause it to be crunchy.

I have great hair. I provide a premium canvas to the person that cuts my hair... that kind of level... and I am super happy with this product. After blow drying my hair, I apply a bit of this clay on my hair and it naturally blends in after I ran my hand through my hair for a bit. It’s a great value for its quality. I recommend this product.
