Leather Ink & Dye Remover (100ml)

Easy to use, effective if you follow the instructions precisely.

I would give this product less than one star if possible. I ordered it because it claimed to get ink off a sofa. Instead it took all the colour out of the sofa, the ink remained and when the product dried it left an even worse bleached stain all around the pen marks. I tried to use a colour restorer but the bleached stain remained. It has totally ruined my leather sofa and I wish now I had just left the few biro marks alone.

My order was delivered earlier than expected, which has allowed me to get rid of the nasty blue ink stain on my light grey leather sofa before Christmas visitors arrive. It took a few applications, but you could see it getting lighter each time, until it disappeared completely. Really effective, but gentle enough not to damage the leather. I'm really pleased with the result 😁

I have a vintage vinyl chair I was doing a little renovation work on. However, some dye bled into the vinyl when a heated cat blanket must have got a little wet (very annoying as it should have been colourfast). I don't know how it got wet- cat sweat?! Anyway, I am guessing the combination of the dye with the heat, set the stain. I tried multiple things but nothing removed it. I am not sure what this product is, but it also didn't do anything at all. I gave it a couple of stars because I cannot say it doesn't work, just that it didn't work in this instance, and it didn't damage the vinyl further or remove too much colour. It did remove some, so i stopped trying, but the overall effect does not show much lightening.

This product did work eventually. A very small bottle. Not great smeing BUT with a little elbow greese, i can see a difference. In fact, where i used it, it is way lighter then the rest of the headboard. I have a cleaning brush, make the job much easier BUT it was harder to put the solution onto the board with the brush, need to put it on the leather then quickly scrub with the brush for effect.

Excellent product removed very easy

We used this product as directed on a small patch on our sofa, immediately it started to corrode away the protective layer on the leather. We now have an unsightly patch on our sofa. This is an aggressive product so do a patch test first. Have asked for a refund but no response.
