Unless I'm mistaken, this is supposed to be one of the longest music videos on record (about 40min), and it is from beginning to end such a great video! This played well on two DVD players that I played it on, but did not work on my MAC laptop. I was kind of bummed about it not playing on my laptop initially, but I'm glad it worked on my DVD player. Like it has been stated, the quality is not going to be up to par with a DVD when it comes to clarity and sound, but it's not entirely at all bad either - it's pretty decent, and I believe that unless you prefer to go on youtube to watch clips of this, this VCD is the only way to purchase the actual full length movie/music video, since it never did originally come out on DVD in the first place.What I love most about Ghosts is, of course, MJ singing and dancing - I just took a dance class for the first time and I now have a much greater appreciation for dancing and dancers in general and give props to those who are able to dance so well, like Michael Jackson and the rest of his dancers on Ghosts. I have learned that mastering the steps, moves and sequences in a dance routine is not as easy as you think it is (unless you are a naturally gifted dancer or have prior dance experience) and must say that the choreography that's seen on Ghosts is just awesome!!! I swear, only Michael could have come up with something like that, it just blows you away! Nobody but Michael Jackson could deliver it the way he did! And I agree, he should have won an award or something for playing the part of the mayor - if you've never seen this before or never heard about it, you would probably never guess it until the very end;-) This is definitely a must to be in the collection of any MJ fan out there, it is totally worth buying!

I thought "Ghosts" was fantastic; this was MJ at his best. The sound & picture quality was excellent and the VCD played brilliantly on both my computer & DVD player, so I could easily watch it on a big screen TV. The songs, dancing & special effects were brilliant. I recommend this version of "Ghosts" to any Michael Jackson fans; I'm sure you'll love it, as I know I certainly did.In summary I found "Ghosts" to be thoroughly enjoyable with a laugh here and there as well. MJ acted out about 5 different characters during the film, (Maestro, Skeleton Maestro, Ghoul Maestro, Mayor, Ghoul Mayor), and during the credits at the end of the film you get to see him going through the make-up process for each character which was a real eye-opener as to all the behind the scenes work involved in this short film.For anyone concerned about young children viewing MJ's "Ghosts" there is mild horror involved in the form of Ghouls with Dracula type teeth in some scenes, which may scare some young children.And for anyone who interested to know I bought my copy as new from the seller titled - wegotthebeatsdotbiz. I bought what I thought was a new copy of Michael Jackson's "Ghosts"When I received it July 16, 2009 I was so excited. Excited that is until I found out that it will only play in my computer. We tried it in our dvd player, xbox360, and playstation 3. All we got was "No Disc". I know I will never get my money back, I'll just take this as a loss. I buy alot of things from Amazon and I am disappointed and seriously hurt by this matter.

I've been wanting this for so long and finally found it on Amazon. I tried getting it from itunes but it's the edit version music video not the full short film. So I was happy to find it here. The only thing is that the dvd plays on ALMOST all DVD Players, not on ALL... So I had to see it on my computer (wich for sure it will play.) At home we have several DVD players and in some I was able to see it. Needless to say MJ did a great job with this short film...
