Despicable Me: My Dad the Super Villain

Cute book and very close to the movie! My girls love the Despicable Me movies and we love reading the book to them. It's just a short synopsis of the movie, but still fun to read.

The kids love it! My little guy (7 years old) was having trouble reading but this book just brought it all out for him. A fun book for the youngsters and a cute read for the parents.

My daughter loves this book. It goes through the entire story from the movie in a quick 5 minute read. We love to add voices and sing songs from the movie while reading

My four year old loves the movie and enjoys this book. The binding is flimsy but that’s to be expected at this price.

I really didn't want to see this movie. It appeared to be a child's movie with a snitch of child abuse. I have now watched it about 12 times since we bought it immediately after seeing it. I use some of the phrases occasionally such as: light bulb, it's so ____________ I'm going to die, the unicorn song and knocked over. I want a minion but am not about to pay $40.00 for one. I have asked so many people if they have seen it and am told no. Maybe teaching the girls to be criminals or bad taste in entertainment. Who knows.

we liked the movie so i got this and its pretty short and perfect for before bed time story. pictures are cute too

what a cute little reader for both of my boys- they really enjoyed it as they are fans of both part 1 and 2 movies.

If your child likes to read and also likes this movie, then this is a must. THey will enjoy the story and it's fun to read together.

My 5 year old daughter loved the film, & loves this book just as much. It is a very simplified version of the film, & it ends differently, but it captures the movie fantastically. The focus is more on the family storyline, rather than the villany. It's a good book for children beginning to read on their own, but works equally as well a read-together story. Well worth the money if you liked the film.

Amazing! Me and my kids absolutely love it!

Got this book for my daughter as she really enjoyed the film and she loves reading. She was so happy to get this and wanted to read all the book that day! Think I may even borrow it off her!
