I bought 3 of these at Christmas for the stockings. I am happy to report that it’s now the middle of June and all 3, mine and the kids, are still working great, with zero issues. The plug in part had a glowing tip, which makes it easy to find and easy to plug into the port in the dark. When your phone hits 100% charged, it stops charging, which is a huge bonus. I just ordered 3 more in case ours ever stop working, and we can no longer find these to buy. I recommend them to everyone.

Nice heavy duty cable but it seems to turn off at 98% or 99%. To get it to 100%, I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Disappointing.

It does not work with some iPhones. It works with my phone but not my daughters phone and we have the same phone.

The first one I ordered was defective. Sometimes it would shut off after only charging for a few minutes. Returned it and ordered another. Same problem with the second one. When it worked, it was great, but I cannot recommend this product as it is not dependable. I am very disappointed as I like the idea of it shutting off when the item is fully charged and it looked like it would be more durable than the official Apple cords. It does not recharge the item if you use it after it is at 100% and still connected as was stated in one of the answers, which is okay with me. I just wish it could be depended on to charge the item fully before shutting off.

Ok i got this and my iphone needed charging all the things they said it would do worked. With phone off it charged then turned off. (Indication is battery appears grey as in not charging) So far so good. Then i put this cable on my ipad 4. While still in use after 100 % charge, indicator went grey. Started to think his thing was nott working as i watched the indicator drop below 89% , with battery showing grey, then it began charging while still in use. So the battery indicator turned green , charging began, and my ipad, while being used, recovered to 100%. The cable is well made and unlike others i have owned i doubt the cable will weaken at the plug area which is the reason for purchasing.

This lightning cable works fine, 1 month into daily use. Length: long enough for most people. The illuminated connector is very helpful: it is solid green when not connected and that helps when trying to find it. The light flashes slowly when fully charged, another useful feature. Not too bright, does not disturb sleep.

I loved this Mcdodo Auto disconnect charger, I don’t have to worry to over charge my phone especially at night when i go to bed, because it disconnect automatically and you can tell by the light ... loved it and they delivered fast...
