Great, convenient saw for packing into the back country.
Few want to hassle with a large bow saw for cutting tree trunks in the back country. With the pocket chainsaw I can clear fallen trees from a back country bike trail, or I can make quick work of sawing small logs to length for a camp fire or for a bush craft table, etc. This compact saw easily fits into my bikepacking set-up so that it is with me when I need it. So easy to use and cuts quickly and efficiently. Much safer than swinging an ace, amd easier and lighter weight.

Packs nicely in the 4 wheeler
Ever go 4 wheeling off the trail and run into downed branched in the way? A bow saw is bulky and hard to secure. My first impression is it seems to be very well made and can get the job done in no time. Only time will tell if it holds up to my abuse. The case is well made and the bely loop is a plus. For now, 5 stars.

Well built, Easy to use, Compact
This is my first pull-chain style saw, so I cant compare to anything... but this thing is small but mighty. It isn't the lightest saw I've carried, but it more than makes up for it in the diameter of what it can cut. I can't speak to durability yet, but I ran it through a dozen 4" - 8" dry limbs and it handled everyone under 30 seconds with consistent pulling. I have not tested on wet wood yet, so we shall see. NOTE: This is not meant to be a "replacement for a 36" bar chain saw. The largest diameter I believe this would be effective to is 10", maybe 12" but that would be pushing it. The fact that I can coil it up and stuff it in the front of a bino harness means that you get a ton of cutting ability for not a lot of weight. If you are counting ounces then maybe keep to an aluminum folding saw or what have you, but this is my new go to if you don't mind a few more oz. I am very excited to be able to clear downed trees that otherwise would turn my pickup/atv back or spend the time axing through. This will make collecting firewood a breeze as well. The one thing to look out for while using these pull-chain type saws is that if you are sawing from a safe position (opposite of which way the tree/limb will fall) then the chain will get pinched in the kerf quite easily. So, you somewhat have to be in the line of fire for a while to use the chain without it binding. To avoid this, I would recommend getting 1/2 way thru on the lean side and then switch to the safe position and finish out the limb. Anyone with experience and common sense would figure this out, but for those brand new to this style saw (like i was) I thought this might help. Happy trails!

Super nifty and high quality
The pocket chainsaw comes in an easy to carry and high quality bag that it can be stored in, which is super helpful so it isn't just sitting around in my backpack, especially after its been used as is covered in bits of tree and branch. The paracord handle is likely the most comfortable to use because of the back and forth pulling, so I'd recommend it over another the other options unless you have gloves. The blade itself is definitely sturdy and strong, but because it is only one-sided there were a couple times when it would get caught, especially towards the ends of branches when the blade would start to reach itself. Even still, it was sharp and easy enough to use that it would cut to a part where the branch or tree could easily be snapped or bent. It's not a necessity, but it is lightweight and fun to bring on a camping trip, and does its job super well! I even think about buying a second one, or maybe gifting one to my friend!

What's There Not To Like?
It's light weight, compact, efficient, with a great price point that delivers the capabilities of a chainsaw without the weight, clunky size, noise, and risk inherent in a gas powered chainsaw. Obviously, a gas powered chainsaw is appropriate for many situations, most notably those requiring speed. But for me, a mountain biking enthusiast, the Pocket Chainsaw gives me the power to immediately remove fallen trees off my favorite trails. No longer must I wait months or even years for someone to clear fallen trees off trails. I can do it myself on the same day I encounter the tree. That is tremendously empowering, especially in an area with frequent tree fall where I do most of my mountain biking. I've also used the pocket chainsaw to comfortably lift and move logs out of the way. Just place the smooth side of the chainsaw under the log and lift by the hand straps. I've also used it to create levers (out of smaller dead trees) to lift and move heavy tree sections cut apart by my pocket chainsaw. From my point of view, I'm the primary beneficiary of the pocket chainsaw. But other mountain bikers as well as hikers equally benefit from my immediate removal of these trees that block the trails.

Great tool
For a cheap price, this is a great tool to have on hand for camping, prepping for a hunt, etc. I used it to take down a few small trees to reposition a ladder stand. This ripped through the trees without much effort at all. Takes up very little space for the benefit of having it when it’s useful.

Meh at best
Don’t get me wrong, this gets the job done and it is pretty sharp but the downside is it binds up a lot and it gets stuck on itself. I used it a few times. I’ll keep it in the bag for just in case purposes but it not a go to tool.

We recieved a clearly used item when it was meant to be new. The chain portion had leaves and moss stuck to it. The chain links are rusty and the cord is dirty and slightly frayed. Not what was expected! Returned.

Just received the product. It is not what its advertised to be. 1- The product is advertised as 48 teeth when in fact it has 24 teeth. 2- The product does not have any CAMPNDOOR markings. 3- The carry pouch does not have any CAMPNDOOR markings and is a basic no name pouch. 4- ASIN and Part numbers do not match the package. This product is miss advertised and is being returned.
