I purchased both the Flapper and new fill valves for myTOTO toilets. When I installed the flapper and adjustedit in accordance with the instructions. together with thenew fill valve, everything worked perfectly. The instructionswere flawless and simple. - A couple of days later we noticed thatthe water level of the tank was lower and the fill valve kept coming on.I could not figure it out so I called Korky - Their customer service galsare great they really know their products and gave me a couple of teststo determine the problem and finally decided to replace the new flapperat their expense. - It took a few days for the flapper to arrive and in themeanwhile I checked and rechecked the flapper and saw nothing wrong with itor the surface of the flush/overflow valve. Then I saw that the Toto handlehad play in it and would sometimes move the flush valve off its intendedposition and allow very minimum seepage. I called Korky to ask if I should send back theflapper that they sent me and they said keep it for future use.I had to replace the Toto handle $23.00 ripoff - but everything works perfectly now !Thanks Korky !

I have water with very lot of iron in it. I use these often very easy to install and get to the right length.

The Korky Plus flapper worked like a charm. Easy to install on my American Standard, although I'm sure it would fit most toilets. It solved the problem of not enough water getting from the tank to the bowl. After some adjusting on the "float" we now get a full flush. Recommended. Four stars.

We have hard water here in southern CA, and 3 toilets in our home, so I change out toilet flappers continually. Usually I get whatever "universal fit" flappers that are available at the local home-store. Recently though, the wife has complained that some toilets are "hard to flush."Invariably, the "hard to flush" flappers were those rigid-armed universal-fit Fluidmasters. I usually get several at a time, so I might have gotten a bad lot; however, they were indeed hard to actuate, and sometimes would not fall/shut-off. I also replace tank fill valves frequently, and have had good results with those Fluidmasters; it's just the flappers that have been a problem.I was actually looking for Original Manufacture (OEM) American Standard when I ran across these. They LOOK to be identical to the flappers that originally came with our American Standard and Porcher toilets [same yellow float, which is movable up-and-down to adjust the amount of water that is "flushed"]. The metal chain is quite long; I clipped the excess for our Cadet toilet tank [rather than have it flail around], but it should be fine in the Porcher's tank, which is taller. Works fine; very pleased.

I had to replace the flapper from my new toilet kit because that flapper would not close. This flapper had done it's job and closes. It was easy to install.

They fit, they are fairly easy to install, they work well, and last a long time. The only thing I have to adjust is to shorten the chain a bit. My only complaint is eventually they wear out and wind up in the landfill of plastic of which we already have way too much in this world. I'm not sure if they make an all-stainless steel design and if that would create a good stopper so water doesn't leak out. Some kind of "forever" product, hence less in our landfill?

I know from experience that Korky makes a fine flapper. I recently tried using these adjustable Korkys and they are not at all what one would think. I was hoping to prolong the tank draining into the bowl by adjusting this all the way down as the instructions state. What happens, though, is the valve does not stay open any longer than a "normal" Korky for a very simple reason. As the water level drops, the adjustable float can't float so the valve closes. This happens at the same point, perhaps even a bit earlier, than a normal Korky would close. On the plus side, it does work well for adjusting in the opposite direction by allowing the valve to close quite early. So if you are trying to save water by flushing with the least amount of water that does the job then working a bit with this valve should give you the least amount of water to flush. How little water usage you can get away with really depends on your toilet design so the adjustable feature may not be all that great for you but you still have basically an excellent flapper without the float.I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is still a great Korky flapper. The adjustable feature was lost on me, but might be what you want.

This flapper works, it truly does. I have plenty of experience installing toilet parts, but this flapper was somewhat annoying to put in properly. The adjustments were confusing, and after repeated attempts to get the length just right, I gave up and used a twist tie to get it to the right length to work properly. So, yes, this flapper works. Three stars for that, but I cannot rate it any higher due to the installation being more fidgetty than most other flappers on the market.

Fits & worked well! Arrived quickly, easy to install... not a whole lot of instructions but its really not tough to figure out. Quality seems high and the features for such an inexpensive product are pretty good if it holds up like it says it will.
