I absolutely had rigged the window I have for the AC before and it had massive air leaks coming out. After purchasing this item I installed it immediately upon opening and I couldn't be happier. Also, my apartment complex is happy with the look of it. I have windows that are small and bend outwards from hinges at the top and this worked like a charm. I had extra material on each side so because the window itself is ajar after stick the Velcro around the seams of the window as instructed and installing I stuffed the rest in the open crack above. No problem. Looks and works great!

This window seal works great in my German home, it is exactly what I needed for my portable ac during those hot summer days. I used to use an insect net for my windows, but it was unattractive and I had to remove that whenever the weather was cooler. It didn’t come with instructions, so that was a negative. Also, it is only for windows that tilt opens

Somewhat practical. It does work but not the greatest

Installed quickly and easily. It is a little confusing to describe how to install, but it make sense once you have it in hand and look at how it will attach. It was too big for my window, but I didn't have any trouble getting to to seal tightly enough with some extra material left over.

Has anybody actually managed to put this piece of crap on a window yet?

This product is excellent. It works well to not let any bugs into the house while providing a way to run a portable AC in a crank or sliding window.

This is my second one of these items. It works well if the outside temp is in the high 20 degrees (f) range. But when the outside temps are colder, it seems to me it has a difficult time keeping the cold out. Conversely, it worked well in the heat when the A/C was running. This item is the only thing I've found for odd sized window openings. I liked it enough to buy a second one! Overall, I am pleased with the product.

This worked out great for us. Living in Seattle we have no central air, so we bought a portable a/c unit and had to have a way to vent it. I highly recommend this product, it’s durable and well made.
