Easy install replacement, works better than original
The controller in my traeger went haywire and was causing insane temp swing so figured err probably just needed to replace it. Found and ordered this and I am so glad I did. Very simple installation, has some settings the stock one didn’t have, and temps are super stable. Also the thermometer reads much closer to what my other digital thermometers read as well compared to the original. Overall I am super satisfied with this and it saved me from considering a whole new grille

Great Product. Better than Treagers Original Controller
Very well built and easy to install. I bought this to replace the controller in a Treager Terxas Pro that was giver to me. The owners dog had chewed out all the wiring and ruined the controller. This one works like a dream and it is a plus having the 2 extra meat probes. I would recommend this controller. The only thing different is this controller is a tad bit wider than the opening. I just trimmed off an 1/8" off of one edge of the hole and it fit perfect.

Very tight fit
Modifications required on older Treager models. I had to widen the cutout in the grill for the electronics to fit. Other than that, it appears to be working great.

Replaced broken controller on Makers Mark pellet grill
I have a makers mark grill and the controller quit after getting wet. I was unable to find a direct replacement so I tried this product. It wires directly into existing makers mark wiring harness but I did have to make an electronic housing for this controller. First start up is going well so far. Cheaper alternative to buying a new grill.

Plug and Play
This was fairly straight forward install. Only drawback is the instructions are probably on a size 3 font. It started up and worked as intended.

Temp control problems
The lowest setting is 225, not 180 and that can be an issue. My fault for not looking more closely! The real problem is temp control. Set at 225 my traeger seems to settle in at 295-300. Basically making useless as a smoker. Very disappointed

Mixed results
I’m disappointed in the temperature control. The controller is pretty consistently measuring 75-100 degrees over my other thermometer in the smoker. The controls are great and installation was easy.
