When they're good, they're good
On a 4ftx8ftx1in piece of foam board, I put a 2inch "globs" in the top corners, and center, with 3 lines of caulk down about 2/3 the length, then 3 identical "globs" at the bottom. Held great! Was able to get more than 2 sheets per tube, closer to 3. Some of the old tubes started separating, and the first few ounces of caulk were separated, just pump that into the trash (it won't hold) until you get good caulk coming out. Cleans off of hand easily with water.IF IF IF you are placing foam board against a wall the has even the SLIGHTEST chance of leaking/sweating, DO NOT place the caulk in a "squiggle" pattern, because depending on your squiggle, the caulk could catch and hold moisture. Run them straight down, or in a constantly dropping zig-zag, so water always has a way out if it finds its way in.

Not great for rigid foam insulation
Im really surprised at how good of reviews this has after having tried it on gluing rigid foam insulation (the green stuff from Lowes) to a block wall. If you're trying to stick sheets to the wall, this stuff DEFINITELY is not the best choice. Its not a quick-stick kind of glue, meaning you need to use something to hold the foam sheets against the wall while this stuff dries. If you're looking for something that will stick rigid foam sheets (and you don't have to hold the sheets against the wall for hours) try the window/door Greatstuff spray foam (buy the gun too). Works MUCH better and costs a hell of a lot less. You don't have to worry about the sheets falling off or sliding down.

Can’t stop the ooze
First of all, I’m using Loctite Foam Adhesive for a model railroad, so my results may not be valid for someone using it for a building application.Model railroaders tend to use a lot of pink building foam as both a base and to build mountains; so much that a layout under construction is frequently referred to as the “Plywood, Pink Foam, & Pacific”. So finding glues that work on foam without dissolving it is critical. Loctite Foam Adhesive works well to stick foam both to itself and to other materials. It is thick and gooey so it works even when the two materials have gaps between them. But that convenience comes at a cost: it is the worst product I’ve ever used to stop coming out of the caulk gun when you’re done laying a glue line. It keeps oozing, and oozing. It doesn’t matter if you retract the plunger or stuff a nail in the nozzle - the ooze continues! I’ve learned to keep a putty knife located underneath the caulk gun’s resting place so it can collect the excess.

Pro Tip: Store upside down
Store these upside down, with the nose downward, to prevent caustic liquid from settling to the top of the nose, and squirting out all over your hands and project after you cut the tip. I learnt this the hard way on my first two tries. It gave me a very mild first degree burn. I stored the next few bottles upside down for 24 hours and no caustic, burning mess!

Popcorn ceiling, does its job decently
I recently intended for a room makeover and wanted to cover up my popcorn ceiling with some styrofoam tiles I bought off from Amazon as well. This glue thooooo, I don't hate it but it took me into the AMs figuring out how to properly use this against my popcorn ceiling texture. I worked at 9am, squeezed 5 tiles and I learned I had to let it sitttttt for close to 1-1.5 hours for it to try, on tiles when I squeeze too much glue, I had to elt it sit for atleaset 2.5-3 hours for it to properly stick to my ceilings without having the tile fall down only after a quick shower. It's a great product for the price, I just only wished it dried faster...

Just okay product
Most foam board manufacturers recommend a water based product like this Loctit PL300. However, it is definitely not as strong as non-water based adhesives. But, with foam board the non-water based adhesives will react with and even dissolve the foam board, not good. Loctite is the most common and popular adhesive of this type. That said I wish it had better holding power. It does take time to set up, longer than non-water based adhesives. I definitely needed support against the foam board until the adhesive cured, even with applying over a concrete floor.

Great foam friendly glue for styrofoam.
I use this to glue pink Styrofoam insulation to plywood for model train layouts and it works great. Many glues will melt styrofoam but this is made for it and works great.
