Great step very heavy duty should stand up to years of use and abuse on our teardrop camper.

Very high quality item, and it seems very sturdy. Unfortunately it doesn't ship with the correct screws, at least for what we needed it for. But that's easily fixable. Overall it's a nice product.

This step is going to work perfectly. It's made very strong. Real good value.

2 Useless screws are provided so that when step is pushed inward for retraction Step will not fall out and get lost on Highway. What needs to be done is the following: Re-drill hole in step to accommodate 3/8" x 1" Screw and 2 Nuts, 1 for outside to give more Meat to prevent accidental falling out of Step on Highway (cause it will fall out if you happen to hit that Pot Hole on the road) and another nut with pressure washer and flat washer. Adding this little feature will only cost the manufacturer another 25 cents (IF THAT), and will prevent that Step from getting lost on the highway, unless the objective is to have customers to purchase another Kit.

They need to update the picture. The angle iron doesn't extend across the top as shown just 2 3-4" pieces on either end with holes for mounting. I was going to leave this bolted in but have decided to weld it, just to be sure of the strength.

It helps very little in accessing the back of my flatbed. The trouble is that there is no length in between the RS1 and RS2. While the RS1 will fit under my truck bed in stowed position, it's too short to be very effective as a step.The RS2 is way too long to fit in the stowed position because it runs into the frame.This may be a great product for a low flatbed trailer, and the RS2 may be great for a larger commercial flatbed truck, neither work well with a standard height, cab and chassis F-350 with a Knapheide flatbed.
