I needed to replace my gas range because the oven stopped working. It had a built-in backsplash and my new range does not, so I began looking for wall-mounted backsplash options. I looked at many options, and settled on this one, mainly because I like the stainless steel aesthetic and the functionality of the shelves. It looks great in our kitchen, and the shelves are perfect for some of our frequently-used items. It seems well constructed and was easy to install and assemble. The range was just installed today, so I have not yet put the backsplash through the rigors of cooking and cleaning, but it looks great. I was disappointed to find that a spot on the right side of the panel was damaged. It wasn't enough to motivate me to send it back, and it isn't too noticeable. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase!

Restaurant kitchen type quality. This unit is double walled, heavy gauge stainless steel for the majority of it. It is single sheet stainless in the mounting hole locations at top and bottom. Dimensions for the back splash itself are very accurate. Especially in the width. However, if you are mounting this 36" wide back splash unit between two cupboards which are 36" apart, there can an issue with when using the supplied long shelf and bar. There is a design flaw. The long shelf and bar are both too long. When you assemble the long shelf and bar and attach the end brackets with the supplied screws, it can make the overall 36" width dimension too wide if you are mounting this unit between two cabinets.My solution was to mount the end brackets on the inside of the shelf ends, instead of from the outside. I had to use different screws since I was driving screws through (the now reversed screw locations) into the wood cabinets on each side of the back splash. But the other issue was mounting the bar, which has to be mounted from the outside of the brackets. The supplied screw heads stuck were too thick and stuck out too far, making the bar want to bow because of the tightness of room between the cabinets. My solution was to replace the bar's supplied screws (metric) with similar type flush head screws. This solved resolved the issue with the bar bowing. The overall 36" width needs to include the mounted shelf, end brackets and bar. This is NOT an issue if you are NOT mounting the back splash between two cabinets. The mounting locations on the back splash itself for both shelves are accurate and the supplied screws work fine. My overall consensus is that this back splash it is an affordable, high-quality solution to higher-priced, big name brands. This makes it really more affordable for kitchen upgrades on a budget. Despite the design flaw with the long shelf and bar, I would purchase this again.

Love this so much - looks fantastic. I didn't want to pay $3,000 for a tiled backsplash - so instead wallpapered backsplash and added this behind my range. It's just perfect. Stainless steel very high quality for the price.I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to jazz up their kitchen.

We ordered a new stove and didn't realize at the time that the new stove did not have a raised back. Therefore we needed to install a backsplash to pass inspection. We ordered this one and it was very nice. The one we received had a slight warp to it likely due to shipping but it wasn't enough to return or replace. Installation was relatively easy using drywall anchors. We also installed a new range hood at the same time and were able to make the top edge of this come up close to flush with the bottom of the range hood. The shelf is sturdy. You may or may not want to put on the knife holder depending on the amount of space you have between the bottom of it and the stove below. Even if you don't want to use the knife holder for knives, it's also a good shelf for a short bottle or two.All in all very happy with this purchase, especially the quality vs. the price. Finding a big piece of quality stainless steel like this for less than $300 is not easy.

The quality of this backsplash is great. It is not a thin piece of stainless. Was an easy installation. The only minus was a couple corners were bent a little bit from shipping but were able to straighten them out and we attached a piece of trim to the top to cover the screws and give it a finished look.Would definitely recommend this product.

Replaced the range at our river place and this stainless backsplash ended up being a great compliment. Well built and easy to install.

We liked the look of this stainless back-splash, and were excited to finally install it after the installation of a new range hood. Unfortunately, the shelf unit and side-screws exceed the 30-inch width (the edges of the brackets for the shelf are actually a bit outside the panel, and the screw heads are even more outside the panel). This means the back splash won't fit between our upper cabinets. We weren't thrilled about the prospect of dealing with a return, so we turned the unit upside-down and reversed the mounting of the shelf and placed it closer to the stove. It is now below our cabinets, and looks OK. I assumed Vevor would have better quality control. Very disappointed.
