I bought this battery for my ASUS Republic of Gamers laptop because the old battery was crapping out at about half percent. My laptop would shut off at half battery. I'd have to keep it plugged in all day or else it would shut off when I wasn't paying attention to the battery. When this came in, I put it into the laptop, turned it on, and charged it. When it was fully charged, I unplugged it and used the computer for a little while, noticing that the battery life was about 3 hours. I left the laptop on for awhile without using it and came back to check on it. Laptop was still on and battery was less than half full. Pros: My laptop technically has more battery life with this new one. It doesn't seem to be defective, which is awesome. Cons: Only about 3 hours of battery life.

Great value battery with near-OEM battery life/specs
When it comes down to it, this battery performs very well in the price-performance ratio. ASUS wanted an unbelievable amount for a replacement OEM battery; I found this reasonably priced battery and I was very surprised at the near-OEM battery life/specs that it has to offer. It is a fraction of the price for essentially the same battery. It fits and latches with the same snugness as my old OEM battery and battery life is very close to what I remember my old one to be when it was new. I recommend this battery and company.

Very good replacement
Works amazing with my Asus. As expected the battery is a bit smaller than the original so the laptop life is a bit shorter. No big issue thou, seller is pretty transparent and I still get 45 minutes of autonomy.

Easy to install - does what it needs to do!
Bought this battery to replace a dead one in my GL552V laptop and it charged up wonderfully. One thing to note is that upon installation you MUST connect the power adapter upon installation to kick start the battery.

Get what you pay for.
The battery is ok. It does not have the same capacity as the original but it gets the job done. With power saving features activated it still does within 2 1/2 or 3 hrs max.

Perfect fit for ASUS laptop.
Half the cost of many other laptop batteries for my machine. Super fast shipping and easy installation. Has a good warranty so I hope it lasts as long as my last battery.
