Try On The Straight Razor

Got it as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it

Excellent for trying something different and smells great!

Bought as a gift, he used it all the time

Pretty good set, the straight razor was great and came with a good few razors so you wouldn't have to buy more so soon. The rest was pretty ok, the shaving cream and after shave balm are great but you aren't getting a lot of them. My only issue is that the after shave balms top broke and it won't dispense any but this happened a week after so I didn't have much left in it anyway.

5 out of 5 Stars (5) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ [TL;DR] [QUALITY] (5/5) [VALUE] (5/5) [EASE OF USE] (5/5) [MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5) [PACKAGING] (5/5) [REVIEW REMARKS] This is a pretty complete set. The kit came with all of the tools needed to give yourself a barbershop quality shave in your home. The quality of the products included in the kit are great. I like the weight of the straight razer and the quality of the starter blades. The soaps and pre/post shave products really smell great! They are a nice sandalwood base. I like the tin cup and shaving soap that comes with it. With the included "badger" hair brush (not made from badger hair - but synthetic), you can really get an excellent foam from the soap and cup. This was my first straight razer kit and I am really pleased with the quality of everything included, right down to the packaging. This kit is highly giftable. The only issue I have is the lack of instructions on how to use each of the products. After doing a deep dive online, I found videos and tutorials on how to shave yourself using a straight razer, as well as, how to shave someone else. All in all, the price of this kit at the time of ordering was $40. I found this to be an excellent price point to get started in the world of straight razer shaving. It should be mentioned that straight razer shaves do take MUCH longer than with a disposable safety razer. It is an experience and a time for self care. Extra care is required because the blades are really sharp. There is also a learning curve to shaving this way. You really need to invest time and learn the method, before diving in. I recommend this set for beginners because it includes everything you need to get a good close shave, the products are good quality, and the packaging is quality grade and suitable for gifting. Order with confidence. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

I bought the Kid Man’s shaver as a present for a friend, and it turned out to be a great choice! The quality is excellent — it feels solid and well-made, with a sleek design that looks modern and professional. My friend mentioned that it gives a smooth, comfortable shave and is easy to use and clean. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into the design and functionality. He was genuinely happy with it, which made me feel even better about the gift. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this shaver for anyone looking for a reliable grooming tool or a thoughtful gift. Great quality and great value!
