This map is what I was looking for. Thick paper with some good texture. Nothing absolutely amazing, but looks like it could be an old, hand-drawn map.My ONLY complaint, and I don't know how this could have been resolved given that posted ship all rolled up. It was really hard to put it in the frame. The thick paper meant it had a lot of spring that wanted to return to being all rolled up.Still, once I got it framed, it will look really cool on my wall.

I enjoyed rereading the Silmarillion, Hobbit, and Lord of Rings while tracing the journeys on the map.

Color is too dark. Very hard to read.

The company posted a giant map behind a couch, however the map is barely bigger than a piece of construction paper. I’ll know to read the fine print next time!!

I really need to look at a map when I’m reading Tolkien. He went through all the trouble of describing paths and landmarks, it seem a shame not to understand it all. This map is great, much better than what’s in the book, and it’s sturdy as well.
