This worked just as I hoped. I was able to easily trim the back of my hair (finally) and it looks great. I ve been cutting my own hair for years but the back was never very good. This made it so easy!

This is a fantastic product that enables one to easily shave the back of one’s head after a haircut.

I've been cutting my own hair for several years with a Micro Touch Titanium Trim. The only challenge is the neckline because it is difficult to see the whole neck when you're trying to make both sides even. This template arrived today & I tried it to straighten my neckline. It does work - but you have to make sure to put it on straight & verify with a handheld mirror in addition to a second wall-mounted mirror. And the actual shape of your neckline is not adjustable; only the length.

The product itself is very simple. It's a rubberized edge that is used while cutting the back of your own hair. It's designed so you can cut the edge with scissors as you see fit to round corners, shorten it, etc. I've been cutting/bleaching my own hair for almost 3 years. After watching the stylists cut my hair and asking questions about bleach products and processes they are doing, I figured out how to do it myself. And I've saved a ton. However I've always needed help such as my girlfriend to use my trimmers to clean up the back edge. She does a pretty good job but hates doing it and is a chore. So now I don't have to bother her. I personally still have to use mirrors.. there is no way to know if I'm holding it crooked, and then I can use my trimmers/scissors to do the edge how I like. I didn't cut or customize the edgup product. The design and size are fine as they are for my big head. After I do the bottom hairline edge, I can move the Edgup product up vertically about an inch or two and use my clippers with a guard to trim the bottom, then move it up again higher, and put a higher number guard on my clippers and trim the next inch or two a littler higher. This process allows me to blend the back pretty evenly up to the top of the hair length. So it does what it should, it's a simple edge to use as a guide. I was actually going to make my own out of cardboard and I coincidentally saw this on dudeIwantThat and this is better than cardboard. I'm happy with it

I’m not a fan of this product. I haven’t used it since it came in although I did try it on when I first got it. I thought it would be more useful than it is but it’s just not something that is practical. I’m leaving five stars because It’s made well and arrived exactly as it was advertised, just not an item I’ll be using.

Ive had this for about a month and i use it every week. This is going to be about as honest as a review as you need. If you are just looking to do some “clean-up” around the neckline. Fine. It’s ok. If you think you are going to get the straight barber edge, forget it. So ya I use it for clean but def won’t make you feel as lined up as a barber.
