This stuff works on contact for ants. Literally, I dropped a couple of strayed ants on a freshly swept & sprayed entryway and they were dead within a minute. I have small ants in my rented townhouse. We only see them come in under the threshold but never outside on our front step. A couple months after moving in last summer they removed two overgrown bushes (one on each side of the entry step) and then we started seeing said ants. Our new maintenance guy agrees with us that they must be living in the exterior brick wall. I got some liquid outdoor traps to put on both sides of our entryway but I haven't seen a single ant on there. This spray I have been using daily after sweeping the floor in the afternoon and the ants disappear for most if not all of the remaining day and when they return it is in smaller numbers. I am glad to have found a natural and working (pet and kid safe) product! Hopefully when the pest guy comes this week we will be able to take care of this problem indefinitely! In case anyone is wondering there is a minty/menthol scent left behind while it dries but nothing too bad. I've both opened windows and turned on a ceiling fan (or just one of those options depending on outdoor weather) and it helps!

I care for my mother who is bed ridden. When I feed her in bed I find ants in her bed. We do all organic and I wanted to keep the ants off and away from her. I'm sorry to say that this product did not work for the little black ants that were crawling on her bed.

My husband and I live in a duplex house with no basement, therefore we are particularly vulnerable to garden bugs finding entry to our home in summer. Our new side by side neighbors have taken to growing pansies against the house, which are a known attractant to crawling bugs, especially earwigs. During this humid summer we found some earwigs crawling up our inside separation wall, and realized we needed to treat the source, but we do not believe in harmful pesticides so I turned to I Must Garden, whose products I frequently use (squirrel/raccoon, dog/cat repellents) as they are 100% all natural. I googled the ingredients in this ant spray (mint oil, molasses, garlic & soybean oil) and all checked out as effective against both earwigs & ants, so I decided to give it a try and so far it works GREAT at keeping these pests out of my house, and best of all it won't harm people or pets. Re-spray after a hard rain. The smell is not so bad, more minty than garlicky.

I was hopeful for this product but it doesn't kill the ants I have which is too bad as I need something safe for my dogs as the ants are outside near their water bowl. I have sprayed generously more than a half dozen times and still have ants, any suggestions? at

Carpenter any invasion.! Have two large dogs and an adult with asthma. Wanted safe naturally. The first one did not make a dent. Second one smelled so dangerous thought it was killing every living thing in the house! Product #3 was this one. Barely noticed the smell. Used sparingly and worked immediately. Did not need to wear a gas mask in the house. More importantly ants are pretty much gone. Just an occasional brave or confused stray..who eventually disappears before I can pull out bottle again. Glad I found this. It was literally a case of THEM OR ME!

This product is good- for ants! It does not harm them in any way. This product is slightly better than tap water...

I have small dogs and lots of ants (indoor & outdoor). Its always been an issue. I am actually really impressed with this product! It works better at keeping the ants away than anything with chemicals/treatments I have previously used. And it keeps my pets safe. I have bought this repeatedly. One small bottle goes fast

It works for what it is. It is not harmful to humans or pets. It kills if you spray the ants. They stay gone a while. I think you can spray it regularly and the peppermint keeps them away. It is not pesticide. It doesn't 'keep on killing'. Ants don't take it back to the colony and lay waste. I shake it before spraying or filling the spray bottle. We use this as needed. The first purchase was a quart at a local store, I bought a gallon this time.
