Q: what is best lighting heating for tourtouises in house on a table

I just ordered 2 Evergreen Pet Supplies 100 Watt UVA UVB Mercury Vapor Bulb/Light/Lamp for Reptile and Amphibian Use - Excellent Source of Heat and Light for UV and Basking for each of my Russian tortoises. I understand these all-in-one bulbs are the better choice for tortoises. Hope this helps, Kim

3.5"l x 1.25" h x 1.75"w. I have mine set in the substrate. My Russian tortoises haven't touched theirs. Hope this helps. Kim

My tortoise would have nothing to do with this. i even shaved off some thinking it might be to big but nothing helped i tossed it away.

Q: Does this help to trim their beaks?

I'm not sure. I purchased this for my hatchling leopard tortoise but he didn't show any interest.

My turtle won't eat this.

Unfortunately my turtle won't touch this tortoise block. I've tried breaking it up and mixing it with his food, but he will still not eat it. However that doesn't mean other turtles won't eat it. Mine just might be a bit pickier?

Tortoise wouldn’t touch it

My tortoise wanted nothing to do with this block. She pushes it to the corner of her terrarium so it’s out of her way we’ve tried burying it a bit or placing her food on top of it, nothing helps.

Break it apart a little bit

My sweet girl took to it right away. I broke it down to a much smaller piece since she's only 4 months old but I caught her munching on it today! Sprinkled the dust in her food from the break down 😊
