Well, accidently slashed at the outer layer with a box cutter and did not even make a mark. The rubber backing is soft enough to make it still pliable. The rubber backing made it easier to attach other sections and great seal.The strength of the material is fantastic. It feels so much stronger than some other canvas tents I have had. I expect this material to last longer than the glue holding it!It was not too heavy and I would recommend it for any tenting application. I used the material to fill the wall space between my truck camper shell and the truck side wall when the camper is lifted up.

I did not end up using it but was very happy with the quality of the fabric and the timeliness of the delivery. I’ll hold onto it as I’m sure another project will come along.

Using this this for inexpensive recovering of my 12 year old Yamaha jet boat seats. Works good and easy to contour to the seat curves. I use 3m headliner spray adhesive to hold material to cushions. Holds good to coating on the back of the material. Beats paying thousands for a shop to do it.

What they describe is not real, I bought for a tent and today it is bleached, It is supposedly for outdoor use and has UV and non-discoloration protection, and as you can see in the image it is completely discolored

I needed black canvas with waterproof backing for a cover I'm modifying. No luck at local fabric stores, so took to internet. This sounded perfect, but is nothing like actual canvas. See the difference in the picture. This is like a plastic weave fabric with pvc backing.
