Overall it's a nice frame.
Overall it's a nice frame that worked quite well for me. The packaging was good with plenty of "crush" space around the frame. I was pleasantly surprised that the dimensions of the 27x38 inch gold frame were exactly as described. I did not want to use a mat so I needed precise dimensions. The actual front side opening in the frame is 26 1/2 x 37 1/2 inch. This is because there is a 1/4 inch rabbit all the way around on the back side. I trimmed my picture to 27x28 (actually about 1/16 inch less to make sure the picture would have a small amount of "float" in the rabbit). The frame came with plexiglass with protective film on both sides. The backer panel is fairly thin, soft cardboard but adequate to do the job. The frame came preinstalled with framing points which I just bent upward to remove the backer. It came with all the hardware needed to hang the frame on a wall. The two supplied D-ring brackets needed to be screwed in the back of the frame with supplied screws. I decided to pre-drill the screw holes (not too deep) to make installation easier with no chance of splitting the frame.

Correct size and looks of frame
Looks really great - well packed looks much more expensive than what it cost. Would definitely buy again. Thanks

Good, but use your own nails.
Very sturdy. color is great, and especially for the price. The wood has a few cracks and dents, but they’re very subtle and won’t ruin the look. The only real issue is that the nails they give you are longer than the frame itself (at least for me.) I screwed one in the back and the tip was showing through the other side of the frame. I would highly recommend buying your own nails and make sure it is shorter than the frame so it doesn’t peak through.

Beautiful Frame!
An amazingly, beautiful frame! 30”x30” frame is hard to find at a reasonable price. Wanted it in gold which was even harder to find! Looking for 3 years for a frame I wanted, and finally found! Packaged so well too!

TOP glass NOT glass.
Mixed review.Way overpriced since the top glass is NOT glass but plastic. 21x28”. I bought the exact frame before and it had glass in the viewing area. I messaged seller and asked the question and even the box says glass. It was well packed. The frame is thin and flimsy and will bend on the wall without the rigidity of real glass. But the previous one I bought with real glass has stood the test of time and looks wonderful. Real glass is needed. The back is thin cardstock not plexiglass or even cardboard? I’m not fully unwrapping it because once you do they will charge a restocking fee. Suffice it to say, it’s flimsy whatever it’s made of?I will either have to return it or pay $35-70 more for a real glass at a hobby store. That will make this framing experience over $150!

Thrilled with this purchase!
For 15 years I've had this poster in a frame that was too big because it's a weird size (20x29) and I could never find the correct frame size at any store. Now I decided to reframe it but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for custom framing. I'm so glad I went with this frame. It's perfect! It looks great and complements my poster much better than the old ill-fitting frame I had been using. The frame came extremely well packaged and was in great condition when I unboxed it. Hanging hardware and instructions were included. I was worried that the hardware might be difficult to install but it took me less than ten minutes. The frame is real wood, not particle board. The backing is cardboard and the glass is plexiglass but that's fine with me! It looks good and it doesn't break the bank. I'm so thrilled with how my poster looks now and I wish I had reframed it years ago. And I have other odd-sized posters that I've been meaning to frame so I will be ordering from this seller again.

Operator Error...and YES not recommended screws
I can say from personal experience, not reading every word of a description has caused returns or complications in assembly. Firstly, it is clearly stated there will be tonal variations in color. I can also say, I have had a product color be misinterpreted by the employee pulling the order. I have also inadvertently, myself, pressed the wrong button when ordering. My assessment of the reviews is all of the above is the true outcome.Next, I can say the package arrived ahead of schedule and was extremely well packaged.Secondly, this is a poster frame NOT a picture frame. Poster frames are flimsy by their very nature and only come with plexiglass. Have you ever gone to Wal-Mart to look at a poster frame? Your basic black frame is about $39 and takes quite a beating on the shelf. Most of us, ordered here because "we" needed a non-standard poster size or perhaps desired a color other than the basic black. My point is from the reviews, the disappointment was rendered by paying for champagne when you ordered beer. Yes, I agree the frame seems to be over priced even for a beer.Thirdly, I did not notice any review addressing "the elephant in the room". There were no written instructions!Hanging a picture with D-rings can be a bit tricky. I won't go into the formula, but there is one. From the pictures of the ill-fitted screws, I don't know what people were thinking. Perhaps some opted not to use the nylon string which requires the placement of the hardware on either side of the frame and choose to use two nails, placing the D-ring at the top. At any rate, the hardware was incorrectly spaced and improperly placed on frame edge so to align with the thinnest area of frame instead of thickest, which yielded a puncture. My anxiety error, was not realizing there were two plastic films on the pexi-glass. So after a cup of coffee and a few deep breathes, my heartbreak of a scratched plexiglass was made clear, lol, by removing the second film.Heeding the failures of others, I was cautious, slow and revised the top D-ring placement to the top to be fitted with an actual wire. This was not a simple task and was very time consuming even when deducting time for two cups of coffee and some slight trimming of the canvas. In the end, the frame was a perfect match to the canvas picture I used.
