It works, mostly, so that's good.
It's pretty hard to break an ethernet port but that's what I did on my laptop so I had to get a wireless router in a hurry. I thought this one was a good deal, I've had positive experiences with Linksys modems/routers in the past and I'm generally comfortable with refurbished items so I bought it. I've since found several more current routers in the same general price range; I'm not sure how I missed them before I bought this one.In any event, it mostly works. It wouldn't install until I updated the firmware, after which the installation went smoothly. Under most circumstances I have no quarrel with the performance, but it acts up when I'm streaming Netflix content through the computer to the television, slowing down and sometimes dropping the connection altogether. I've had to power it down and back up on too many occasions. For everything else, it's fine and quite fast. I expect I'll end up buying a new router in the not too distant future because the streaming video problem is just too annoying to put up with for long. If you don't mind spending a few dollars more--and it really is only a few--you're probably better off buying a more current piece of equipment. This one isn't a horrible buy, but it's outdated and used and you can get a new one for the same or a bit more money, so why wouldn't you?

1TS 4M4Z1NG !!
First of all , it arrived at the exact time , and that , at last for me, give this a plus. The router , together with the config CD, power cord and network cable arrived in a brown box, nothing fancy( who needs that? ), but with excellent protection. The contents of the box fitted the description, no scratch's or anything . For me it looks like new . The router itself is really nice and its got this really good looking sleek frame. It has a low profile, which means this wont get in the way of something else because its small. Very good signal strength, enough to reach to my room , even with the walls being in the way.The Setup is very easy if you follow the manual (pdf file inside the cd), it took me less than 10 minutes to set up everything . Impeccable to say the least. Gotta love the tiny blue lights. Even this, being a refurbished product, i consider it myself a very good invest , because you get an excellent product for your money. Besides, this is Cisco we are talking about here. These guys kick ass in the network department IMHO.

Nice Product
Easy to use, setup was a breeze, adding Wi Fi devices such as my printer was quite easy. I have my Linux desktop connected to the modem via a LAN cable to one of the 4 ethernet ports at the back. The range is a bit on the measly side as I am unable to pick up any signal towards the back of the house and the signal is totally lost in the backyard, I had expected a bit more range though. It was packaged ok, received in a timely manner and the packaging was good. An OK product overall just because it achieves what I want it to. One odd thing tho, I doubt the CD works on Linux systems and that sucks as all my systems are Linux, I had to use another laptop to set up the router. When you think of it I don't think that is too bad but a slight annoyance that I can work around anyway.

It's not too bad.
Bought this hoping to use the N network with my little N USB wireless, well not quiet what I wanted.Pros:- Great looking device- Not too hard to install- Comes with softwareCons:- Seems to disconnect my wireless internet quiet oftenOther thoughts:May be I have not installed it correctly or something, but my wireless USB had hard time connecting to it. After switching back to the Belkin wireless router with a g network, things went back to normal. Still not sure what the problem was, but we are not using this router anymore, well at least not yet. May be we will use it again later, or when I have my own internet.

Old and Refurbrished, but a Great Router!!!
I needed a new router to replace my old reliable WRT54G (along with the antenna, the lightning arrester and the POE) which fried during a really bad storm last fall. When I ran across this one at Amazon the price seemed most reasonable, Cisco gave a three month warranty and it supported 80211n). So why not?? I popped for it and as it turned out, I like it even better than my old WRT54g. It's measurably faster and puts four bars in my shop, whereas the old WRT54g barely made two out there. While you can set it for all three (b,g,n) I've set it for 80211n only, which probably explains the speed and range improvement.Am I happy with the purchase? Indeed I am!! I'm thinking about another one to put on the shelf just in case.Don

It's an ok wireless router.
This router works most of the time. It seems to work for a few weeks with absolutely no problems, then it will have a few problems a day for a few days then go back to having no problems for a few weeks. When I say it has problems, I mean my computer still says the router is broadcasting a signal, but there is no Internet behind it, therefore I cannot do anything on the Internet. I have found that if you unplug the router and plug it back in, wait for it to reboot and try again, it works. When it is working, it is a very good router. If you don't mind having to unplug it every once in a while, it is a good router for a decent price.

You get what you pay for.
I needed a quick solution for my home network. Didn't want to spend a lot of money without doing my research. This router was very cheap and a brand I trust. It works good most of the time. There are times when the router will cut out and I have to restart it. That might happen once every 3 days or so. Also when I got the item one of the Ethernet ports was broken. The cable does not snap into place like it should. It fits in there but any tug on the wire and it will come out. I would have returned it but I had no other router to replace it. So far for the money I spent on the router I am satisfied.

Outdated software, but still excelent device
It appears that the software that came with the products was outdated as I couldn't still it with that software. After almost an hour of attempts, I decided to download the installation file from the website, which works flawlessly.Other than that, the product works basically fine. I find that I do have reset it sometimes though. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but resetting it fixes the problem when I don't get a signal on my tablet.
