Good rodent bait station
I've been having trouble with mice getting into my house and raiding my pantry and partying in the attic in the middle of the night. I bought two - two-packs and put one on each side of the exterior of my house with the JT Eaton apple rodent bait/poison. Within a couple nights, the noise stopped and I wasn't getting any evidence of mice. I also haven't found any dead mice or smelled anything dead.Within a week they completely emptied one of the bait stations. As long as I keep these filled they work pretty well. I've noticed that if I leave them for a long time and forget to refill them I get mice again, so they work as a good exterior control method. These things work very well in the weather, they shed rain, and one sat in a puddle but it didn't ruin the bait or damage the station.

Works great!
I purchased these bait stations because of the cost. They are affordable and well designed. The bait station has a see through window and it allows me to see the bait inside. I have noticed that the rats are eating the bait.

Not as advertised
While the boxes seem to be generally the same, the Amazon image for the product shows a raised area in the middle of the box to facilitate access to the bait. The boxes that arrived have much lower clearance and no raised middle section so may dissuade larger rodents from entering.

For rats
This is what you want to buy for rats. It is big enough for them to get in and get to the bait. I have noticed a dramatic decrease in rats I’m seeing around my chicken coop.

Rats - 2, Bait Stations - 0
Put these 2 stations out and checked a few days later. The rats had dismembered the bait stations and the internal parts were laying on the ground. The bait stations were upside down. It looked like a feral rodent cage match had taken place. The bait stations went in the trash.
