Love this leash. Strong and very functional. Light weight and yet very strong

My 100lb Doberman n I trash leashes like nobody’s business so I waited 2 months into our daily use of this leash to leave a review. It is a gorgeous leash made of high quality leather and heavy solid hardware. Despite using it for daily training, walks in the cold wet weather of winter, and play sessions in our favorite muddy field, it looks brand spanking new. It is easily worth double what I paid for it. Don’t sleep on this one.

Leather is infinitely preferable to synthetic leash materials - much better control - the hardware is top-notch (the swivel is usually the weak element in a leash), the six-foot length is perfect, giving your companion freedom to nose around but keeping him close. The braided leather solves the problem of having the stitching rip out. The 1/2 width is suitable for just about every size, although you might be more comfortable with a wider leash on dogs over 100 lbs and with a 1/4 inch leash with dogs 25 lbs and under.

Leash is well made, sturdy, and attractive. The clasp was a little stiff but getting easier. It is thicker than my previous store bought leather leash which I used for 11 years. We have coyotes in my neighborhood so I am happy that the leash is strong and I am confident that I can keep my little dog from the coyotes.

This leash was recommended by a friend. It has quickly become my favorite leash. It is gentle on my hands, not too heavy, and has a nice clip. I will likely buy several more of these.
