I won't use anything else ever again for spiders and roaches. I pinky swear.
This is my all time favorite pesticide now. I've used 2 gallons of it so far. I've tried the common solutions sold in hardware stores but when you spray a cellar spider with the conventional stuff and it's still there the next day, it makes you sad. And terrified that the spiders will demand half of the bed soon when they start moving in. Spiders are particularly hard to control because they only touch the ground with their tiny, tiny feet in their tiny, tiny spider shoes. The insecticides at the store claim to leave a residue that works for long periods of time but truly, they don't. Pyrethrin is a contact insecticide and it starts working in 5 minutes, job is done within 20. I've used it on a variety of spider species as well as roaches. It's really good when you have 18 ft ceiling and are being taunted by a bug at the very peak of it. The spray with knock them down and if you don't get them immediately, they'll be dead under the TV stand in a few minutes anyway. That's peace of mind. So in short: PROs: EVERYTHING but more specifically: 1. This is a squished up flower that kills insects. It's naturally based so I can use it inside the house with pets and boyfriends and all is well. I've made myself sick from chemical exposure before (55 welts on my back, no insect bites) after laying out insecticide powder. I don't have that concern now. That being said, don't drink it on a dare. 2. Visibly works and quickly. 20 minutes, dead spider. every single time. roaches too. 3. Doesn't smell terrible. I don't get a headache or any side effects from using it in small spaces in the house. 4. Contact insecticide only. Both pro and con. You spray what you see. Once it dries, it doesn't pose a risk to beneficial insects. CONs: 1. Contact insecticide - must spray bug to work. Since I've had no luck with the chemical stuff, this isn't a problem for me but I wage spider wars. This may be a con to you. 2. Won't eliminate bills or people. I think that's really a pro, right? [Note to self: do research on this] PRO TIP: Another really good natural insecticide for your garden is Neem oil. It's as effective as pyrethrin on aphids and such. I tried it out this year in mine. Both are harmless but neem is traditionally used in the garden because edibles benefit from the neem oil itself on their leaves. MORE FUN WITH KILLING: Update. I opened the flue on my chimney and had a few hundred wasps fall in the fireplace. 75% were dead, 25% were not. After dressing in full armor (basically clothes and shoes), I sprayed them down and killed the ones still moving around. Then since the flue was still cracked, I did it again the next day with the new visitors. Stuns them quick, dead in 30 minutes. The smell didn't linger in the fireplace either. Good stuff.

Safer to use than most, yet very effective. Just be sure to follow instructions. A tad expensive.
This is OMRI approved, vastly safer than the old treatments. Very effective. Easy instructions to follow. a "go to" on my shelf for when needed. As always, be sure to read and follow all instructions to prevent harm to beneficial insects and non-target animals like Humming Birds.

Used for managing northern corn rootworm
Effective for treating difficult beetles. I struggle with northern corn rootworm on my ornamentals in late summer, but I don't want to use a broad spectrum pesticide that might affect my bees. I applied this just before sundown, and in the morning, the beetle population was reduced immediately. It's efficacy drops quickly in sunlight, so it's nice to use for quick results overnight without lingering on my ornamentals.

Insects are gone!
Read the label and mix as directed. I like the rechargeable battery sprayer for outdoor use and a quart spray bottle for indoor use.

Did not kill tick infestation
I sprayed my tick infested garden area going to kill the ticks as organically as possible. Unfortunately, the ticks did not die. When I used permethrin, I stopped noticing ticks. I used over half the bottle on about a quarter acre. Maybe it just wasn't concentrated enough. Scent wasn't overwhelming. I wore a mask and was fine.

must have for MJ growers
miracle stuff, killed off a bad spider mite infestation, had to use it a few times, but didn't put it on very generously, but it still killed them all on site. Had another set of indoor MJ plants infested with white moths, and same thing, just annhiliated them all and doesn't hurt the buds
