Simple Green 1710000650128 Institutional Organic Formula Lime Scale Remover in 1 gal Bottles (Pack of 6)

I have very hard water in my house, and even with a water softener on both the hot and cold water I get a lot of white scale on my faucets. I have to descale them twice a month to keep up with it. I've been doing this for 13 years and it is a pain-in-the-neck. Vinegar works well, but I would say it only removes about 80% of the scale and takes a bit of soaking. CLR works better and faster than vinegar, but still only gets about 90% of the scale. The Simple Green product removes all of the scale, does it in a few seconds, and has a pleasant smell. It doesn't eliminate the need to descale the faucets twice a month, but it makes the task a smaller pain-in-the-neck.

I love this stuff and it was getting very hard to find locally. We have lots of minerals in our water and this is the only thing that clears the lime build-up that happens EVERY WEEK or less on my sinks, baths and faucets. It has a stong smell but not unpleasant....consider that the smell of money well spent.

This is a very good cleaner. You have to use some elbow grease if it's in rough condition but that is expected.

It feels a little slippery which might mean it's good for soap scum. It sure didn't do anything to the rust in the back of the toilet.

Awesome product for hard water issues on faucets, shower doors, even my quartz counter tops. Safe to use as long as you are sure to remove it with water. I leave it on for about 10 mins and go back, wipe off, and rinse with water. It is also not hard on your hands or nose, as I am super sensitive to chemicals. Very pleasant to use.

I am a janitor and use this product on a regular basis. Finally Amazon is selling it for a great price! It has previously been way to expensive when you factor in shipping charges. Hope it is the same formula as in past years, because it has done a good job removing scale from around sinks and water fountains.

This is the best lime scale remover made on earth. You want to clean your tub and shower right, this product is great and contains no harmful chemicals. All Simple Green products are safe, effective and should be in every store in the country. I am amazed that Home Depot and Lowe's cannot grasp the value of Simple Green Lime Scale Remover. Thanks to Amazon I was able to get this.

We stay in an area where there is lot of hard water supply. Much of the utility water we get is full of lime and that shows on the appliances, bathroom fittings, buckets etc. This lime scale remover brilliantly removes all those deposits without causing any harm to the underlying equipment. While we have used it on surfaces such as steel, ceramic, plastic, I would warrant caution on the steel surfaces. It will be a good idea to try this on a small portion first before using liberally. For surfaces like steel, it might also be a good idea to dilute the solution a bit. Overall, I would recommend it as an effective lime scale remover. BTW when we bought it a few months back, it was not easily available and also costly. We recently bought again and this time it was ready in stock and also much cheaper.
