Best thing to catch fruit flies and drain flies in the house.
Every now and then I have a drain fly problem. The chemicals to put into the drain to control them didn't seem to work so I put a sticky trap in a shot glass near the sink and caught lots. I had to trim the bottom to get it to stand in the glass. Works great for fungus gnats by my house plants and in my garage window to catch flies, etc that end up in there when garage doors are open. Cheap, easy and safe way to control flies and such!

They WORK! Gnats be gone!
These are very sticky and attract the gnats. Works like a charm. SUPER sticky though, so be careful not to touch the sticky part. I recommend removing only one side of the paper over the sticky part. You can always make it a 2 sided sticky gnat catcher if you like, but they are harder to handle.Do not hang where you will walk into them or lean into them with your hair. AND beware, one of my cats loved these. She pulled them all out of the plants and had them all over the room. Surprised I didn't see them stuck to her face but she managed somehow.

Work surprisingly well!
We tried a couple more expensive items that weren't working. These were bought on a whim to go with the other items- we taped a couple to ceiling fans and placed some in house plants around the house. In less than a week, they had several flies on them and we started seeing less and less flies around! Definitely a good buy.

Catches them by the legs, too!
The sticky glue on the traps is enough to catch small gnats by their legs.I just got new office plants and within days had gnats circling my head while I worked. I bought these traps and put one in each plant pot. For the first few days I didn't notice anything happening, the traps were clean and the bugs were still roaming. But it's been six days now and the traps are becoming populated with gnats. I count at least half a dozen on the one trap, and most of the bugs are right along the edge, as though they'd tried to land so as to avoid the glue. But the joke is on them -- they're stuck by one or two legs, but they ain't movin' anymore.I gave the product 4 stars because the stake part is very wide and that made it difficult to push into the soil. I'd prefer a slimmer, thicker stake, but in the end it's the performance that counts. Some reviewers note that "only half" the trap is coated with glue. That's because the triangle portion is what you push into the soil, and you don't want glue on that part.Does it stick to your hands? Uh, yep. Touch the butterfly-shaped top part and it's pretty sticky, but it didn't leave a mess on my hands, although I was careful about not touching it too much.Smell: none that I noticed.Looks: uh, ok for an insect trap. Not exactly decorative but a little better than a plain square tab.

Work amazing!
I noticed I had a few fungal gnats in my house. They are hard to get, so I ordered these. I canât believe how many these have already caught! I had no idea there were that many gnats in my house. Itâs actually really creepy. For the price, these are so worth it! You really have no idea how many are in your house until you see them on these! Highly, highly, highly recommend!!

Works GREAT!
These are awesome! I noticed a little bit ago that I would have gnats buzzing around my face when sitting at my desk doing work and I have plants that used to be outdoors, so I thought they might have been living in them. So, I bought these and stuck them in the plants about a week ago and so far they've probably caught about 3 dozen gnats and I don't notice them around my face anymore. So, win.

Gnats Are Gone!
Product does what it says. Very sticky so it catches gnats that sometimes are around plant soil. It even caught house flies. Love it.

Did not work!
When I opened the package a fruit fly literally landed on the sticky part and flew away. After a week zero fruit flies were captured. Threw away as it does not work.
