Life saver for a drafty apartment!
I love this stuff. I live in an older apartment with a drafty sliding patio door. This was a perfect fix when we got a cold snap here in the South for the winter. It was 10 F outside, and I never would have known. I put this on my patio door and my bedroom windows, and it’s been cozy ever since. The one problem, of course, is that I can’t go out my patio door.

Works perfect in those cold winter days and nights
Our house is 104 years old with drafty windows. I have been using Duck plastic for many years. I usually use the max thicker plastic but they didn't have my size so I bought this regular one. We have a lot of windows and very big and tall. So we usually have to buy the sliding door one. This plastic is very easy to put on and my favorite part is using the dryer to shrink the film lol Good value for the money. Shrinks nice and firm and very clear. It helps with the heating a great deal. Very easy to cut. I just leave it folded. Hold up the longest dimension and cut it wider than the window. Not until after the tape is on do I attach it to the top of the window and slowly unfold pulling tight across the window as I work my way to the bottom. The tape holds up well.

Good product, trustworthy!
Showed up quickly, exactly what I needed for two large windows. Not slider doors, but kept the cold out. I'm nervous one of my cats will poke it, but so far I have hollered when they try, lol, and they stop. I'm not always here. If my cats mess it up, that'd be on them, not the product. It's been at least a month and so far so good! The one thing I didn't like was that the edging tape was really difficult to open. I had to use a knife and accidentally cut through 3-4 layers. It still worked, but the first handful of pieces I put up were small and had to be coordinated in order to provide full closure around the window frame. I did make it work. I am quite happy with the results.

Amazing and cheap
Amazing what you get for the amount you pay. It's not perfect but it definitely helps a lot to prevent the cold air from coming in. It's also pretty easy to install and the adhesive works well. You might need and extra person to help since it's so big, and if you want to get it perfectly straight the second person can really help.

sticks to cold, painted cinder blocks
I am very pleased with this product. I admit to procrastinating buying it until it was already cold an average of 40F or lower outside, and so I was worried that it would not stick well. Our house is built out of cinder blocks and has absolutely no insulation. We have large VERY drafty windows that are all irregular sizes. I bought two packs of this and was able to cover two large windows in the living room (~5'x4' and 6'x5') and one 4'x4' bedroom window, before I ran out of double sided tape. However, there was still plenty of film left so I used gorilla tape and was able to cover another 4'x5' window and another 4'x4' window. I had large enough pieces left over that I could have covered more windows but we didn't need it. It has made a huge difference in the temperature of the house already. It was necessary to leave some flexibility to cover the window crank handles without seeming like it would poke a hole in the film so I did not smooth the film with a blow dryer as directed. It is still very clear and it was easy to apply smoothly over the top half of the windows. I did not peel pack all the tape until I was ready to apply the film. It has been a week of subfreezing temperatures now and the film has not come off. It did not seem like it was sticking at first but after taking off the back, both sides of the tape were more flexible and stuck to the uneven cinder block surface and have stayed. I heated up the walls with a space heater before applying the tape in the living room. I just set the space heater to blow on the wall for about 5 minutes beforehand. This may have helped adhesion, though it did not warm the walls very much. The gorilla tape may be a horrible idea; we will see in the spring. So, I don't recommend that to anyone else right now. I recommend that you buy an extra roll of window tape if you plan to use all of the film that comes in one or more of these packages.

This stuff is amazing!!!!
I can’t even tell you how awesome this plastic is. It definitely goes on better with 2 people, but you can do it yourself. My suggestion is to not take all of the double sided tape off all at once. Start at the top, do a side, do the second side next, pulling snug, then do the bottom. The paper is hard to get started to peel it off the tape, but with a little patience you’ll catch a spot to pull it away. Here’s the biggest suggestion. Use the hairdryer on as hot ad it goes. Medium heat does not work. Start at the top and work your way down. It is absolutely amazing to watch this stuff work. When you are finished you seriously can’t tell there is plastic on the window. Wish I had more windows to do, it was so satisfying to watch it do its magic

Good plastic, ok tape, not enough tape for three windows.
You know what this stuff is. It's a pain in the @$$ to put up, no matter what the brand. I've tried the Frost King brand, and for my money, this plastic is better. It's got less wrinkles out of the box, and "shrinks" a bit more under the hair dryer. The tape, however, isn't as good as the Frost King brand, which is a bit shocking from 3M, who are known for their adhesives technology. In the end, the product works well, and is large enough to cover the 6 foot high, original plate-glass windows in the old Victorian house that I rent. There's enough plastic to cover three windows (80" high x 40" wide windows), but only enough tape for two whole windows and the top strip of another. If you are buying this for large windows, you'll need to also buy more tape. So, for 6 big old victorian windows, you'd need two of these packages, and an extra role of tape.

Buy these plastic window insulating kits if your windows condensate in the winter
I bought this plastic shrink wrap for my windows because I have a home built in the 1950’s. We’ve lived in the house for 7 years. Every winter our windows condensate and I’m constantly battling the constant water, like a faucet turned on running down the windows and mildew on the single paned, wood windows. This year I said, no more. Found this product. Bought the patio door plastic for a large picture window and I also bought the other window kit offered by the duck brand for our other windows. These kits work amazing. I did them all by myself but I would not suggest this for the patio plastic kit, it was very difficult. Regretfully, I ended up taking down the plastic over my picture window because I had installed it to late when my windows were starting to moisturize and they were cold. The sticky tape was loosening in some spots and moisture was getting on the window. As far as my other windows were I used this plastic, they are all securely in tact and I have no moisture or mildew. I had installed the plastic on these windows while the weather was warm. I feel like that is key to getting adhesion on the window frame. Our house is not feeling drafty like it was the past years and there’s no cold emmiting from the windows. I would definitely buy this product again. Just be sure to install this product when it’s still warm if you have older windows.

Does what it says
The product arrived earlier than expected and does the job. A bit fiddly so make sure you read instructions and view videos before you start.

Brilliant
Bit of an ordeal getting it up on my own on such a big window but once I sussed a method managed it in about half an hour. What worked for me was applying the tape across the top and fixing that, then down each side and finally the bottom. I cut the sheet to approximate size then just stuck it up and trimmed it leaving plenty of excess just in case. I didn’t bother with the hair dryer because it was fairly tight and I couldn’t care less about a few wrinkles or creases. This may have been wise because the air behind it expands and contracts with the temperature so maybe being too tight would cause ruptures. All in all if you can get it on the windows ok it’s works brilliantly and the tape provided is excellent, bit fiddly getting the backing off once stuck to the window though so try to leave a bit sticking out at the end to grab when you cut it to length.

Good cheap insulation for the house
Size was sufficient so a beginner like me was able to cut it up easily. Shrinks really well so adding allowance was fine. House temp improved and winter westher is now bearable (Sydney)
