The SafeRest Premium Split Box Spring Encasement is a good quality encasement, especially if you want something fully encased. The only issue that I had was the zippering the encasement. The zipper can sometimes be hard to zip up because it is a small zipper instead of a larger zipper. I wish SafeRest used a larger zipper for their products. The SafeRest company has a really good warranty on their products. If you experience any tears or zipper issues, then SafeRest will ship you a new product. So overall, I would recommend SafeRest products based upon their warranty. The most important part of any item is not just the quality of the product, but also a company to back their products through a good no-questions asked type of warranty.

My previous protector had be laundered in cold or warm water and didn't really work. This one can be laundered in hot water, which I think makes the difference. In conjunction with a spray I use on the mattress and box spring every few days, I wash it every few weeks. It's gotten to the point where it bedbugs don't occupy my mind any more!

The mattress cover looks good. I like that I can completely enclose the mattress in this cover to protect it from bed bugs. I haven't tested the water resistance yet. The size fits nicely on my queen mattress which is 11” thick.

bought these for the boxsprings which I could not find locally. seems like decent quality, zip enclosure with velcro at the end. recommend and I will purchase again when needed. I bought 2 for both our beds, King and Queen.

Decided to keep our old box springs for use with our new mattress, but wanted to seal in years of dust mites first.I was impressed with the quality feel and construction of this product. The cover was very easy to put over the box springs.Purchasing and using this encasement saved us the cost of buying new springs of platform.Very happy with this product.

We used these when setting up a twin bedded guest room, where the box springs were upholstered with different patterns. Much better, cohesive look and will keep the box springs relatively dust free.These were exactly what we were looking for.Nice quality, easy to slip onto the box springs.

Easy to put on excellent quality

I bought this to keep my cat from going inside my box spring. It's been 2 months now and he hasn't clawed through it. It's doing what I wanted, and it was a good price compared to other covers I looked at.

No one ever wants to need one of these, but if you are going through the horror of the dreaded bed bugs, then this is the brand you want to buy. It sturdy, easy to install over your mattress, has that great zipper cover, so that it can't accidentally open, and most importantly of all, it gives you piece of mind that nothing is going to get in or out of your mattress. Just a tip, even if you spill something on the mattress, your kid pees the bed, or pukes on it.....DO NOT remove it to wash it until 18 months after you see your last bed bug. They can survive for that long, and no one wants to live through that hell again. Just spot clean as best you can. Also, after we brought these nasty little buggers home from a cottage rental 4 years ago, we found that heat treatment was what finally got rid of them for us. Chemicals didn't seem to work. We also used interceptor cups under bed posts, ecoraider, and Diatomaceous earth on anything that couldn't be heat treated or put in the washer and dryer on high heat. Best of luck dealing with these little sleep robbers, and know that eventually this will be over, even though it doesn't feel like it right now.

Bed bugs of all sizes all over the zipper and walking along the cover itself, not impressed. I don't know if they're coming out of the zipper and walking, spreading that way, but pretty ridiculous if I have to tape up the WHOLE zipper to ensure anything left alive stays inside the cover.

I'm writing this review because this became a issue for me with the way this is described as fitting 5'.5 box spring. I was concerned it would not fit my 8" deep box spring (technically 7 3/4"). I put the question out on Amazon & got some confusing answers but one woman responded that yes -- it fit an 8 inch box spring. And she was right about that. It is a tight snug fit. I doubt it would fit a 9" deep box spring. There is a stretch to the material but I would say it has the capacity to fit an 8" deep box spring, no more than that.

this product works great to keep bed bugs out of your mattress and box spring. good preventive action. That said, when you go to wash them you have to wash lightly on cool water and tumble dry low heat. however to kill any bed bugs you need to wash and dry on HIGH heat for 45mins. I just find it odd that to washing instructions are so weak.

Discolouration is at an all time highhhh with this product. It is sooooo annoying to sleep on. It is definitely not breathing material, we know this, but jeeeez is it such a pain to sleep on during any season. Super hot and sticky! And NO I am not sleeping directly on it. Just super hot even with my added bed sheets.
