Philips X-treme Vision up to 130% Headlight Bulbs H1 55W

My car blows through headlights. Have had it looked at several times but no one can figure out why. All of the other bulbs I have tried last around 3 months, but these will actually last 6-9 months at a time. And the fact that they are bright is a bonus too.

So after reading a lot of reviews, I opted for these for my wife’s Mazda 6. I must say these are pretty bright and straight white light, no blue haze or hue to these. Her car had the sylvania silverstar ultra and I feel these are brighter and a few bucks cheaper. The only downside is when I received them, the bulbs were loose in the factory packaging and the little end tips of the bulb were broken off. It in no way affected the bulb function luckily, I just think that Phillips needs a better way to secure the bulbs in the packaging. Overall I’m very happy with the brightness of the bulb. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for more down the road lighting.

I bought these as an upgrade to the stock bulbs that came with my new headlights. They are noticeably brighter. I was looking at these vs the crystal vision bulbs (designed to have a whiter, xenon-like light) and was concerned that these would be too yellow for my taste. They are really not very yellow at all which pleasantly surprised me. You can obviously tell the difference if you put them next to a whiter bulb, but that's about it. The increased performance is well worth it. I took off 1 star because, as other reviews have pointed out, the packaging is inadequate. I bought two 2-packs (to replace both low and high beams). One pack arrived just fine, but in the other one of the bulbs came loose during shipping and was rattling around. Fortunately it still worked, but I am unsure whether this will have affected its lifespan. If it goes out within the first couple months I will come back and update this review. Otherwise assume it is still working fine.

I ordered these in November 2016 , and just now had to replace them. My car is old and the headlights probably run a bit under voltage, which helps with long life. Even so, these were SO much better than the silverstar-type bulbs that came with my lights. Yes one bulb has fallen out and was bouncing around when it arrived. However, it took 18 months for them to both burn out, within two days of each other. Great seeing at night - natural color temperature and good distance. Happy to be buying my second set.

If you don't know it by now, there is no magic bulb that will give you the equivalent of $500 HIDs for $20. It's all marketing nonsense and the public eats it up. I do have some PIAA Xtreme Whites which appear very white, but it's the result of a coating on the bulb, not a true while light source. Coatings also reduce light output. There is no way around that. So are these any good? Yes, they are a pretty bright bulb and the price is reasonable. Are they white? Nope. They are still yellow as any incandescent headlight bulb will be. Of course I knew this when I bought them, but if you think $20 bulbs will give you the same 4K output as HIDs, you will be sadly disappointed. I'm happy enough with the bulbs and I would have given them 4 stars if both of them had not been loose and rattling around in the package when I received them. I'm lucky that the filaments weren't broken on them when I opened the package. They should be fitted better in their holders.

I do like the bright light that comes from these bulbs--it is definitely easier to see at night compared to the cheap, plain bulbs. I have put these bulbs in 2 of my vehicles and have gone through 3 packages in the past 6 months, with normal use. They burn out within 2-3 months every time. I've never gone through so many headlights in my life and have become a pro at changing bulbs! Also, I had similar experience to others who left a review saying one bulb had come loose and was moving around inside the package. It had not broken and the bulb was usable, but then it did burn out like the others within a couple months. Look for a differnet bulb. I will never buy this brand again!

I was having an issue with bulbs burning out in my 2004 Impreza Wagon. I bought this pair so I wouldn't continue to go through cheap bulbs or LED Amazon Bulbs. These have a nice bright quality, a little it of yellow but visibility is still great. Highly recommend spending the little extra money for name brand bulbs. they are way better then the Amazon special bulbs.

Duran mucho, iluminan muy bien y de excelente calidad

Color temperature is a little warm for me. I would prefer a 5000k or higher temp but these are very bright and are still running after a year of putting them in. Neither have burnt. Granted they dont get used often.

Montate su un'Alfa Romeo 156 prima serie con parabole non opacizzate dal tempo, il risultato è ottimo. Avendo fatto un piccolo passo indietro da un'Alfa Romeo 159, sempre con faro alogeno, sentivo la necessità di una lampadina di qualità con specifiche migliori rispetto alle versioni di base. Questo senza passare a prodotti non omologati quali xenon aftermarket o lampadine alogene con maggior wattaggio. Il rischio con questo tipo di lampadine è che al colore candido del fascio corrisponda una scarsa efficacia dello stesso in alcune condizioni d'uso. In questa versione, invece, le aspettative non sono state disattese. Sulla 156 hanno la funzione di abbaglianti, ho comprato anche una coppia di lampadine H7, stesso modello, con funzionalità di anabbaglianti. PRO: - Prezzo (Poco meno di €20 per la coppia spedita) --> Decisamente concorrenziale, soprattutto se paragonato ad altri prodotti analoghi su canali classici di vendita - Intensità ed uniformità del fascio luminoso --> Anche su una parabola non modernissima offrono una resa eccellente, senza zona d'ombra o zone eccessivamente più luminose rispetto alle altre; questo risulta molto fastidioso quando si viaggia per molto tempo in notturna. - Affidabilità in ogni condizione d'uso --> Prodotti aftermarket analoghi presentano di solito un difetto fastidiosissimo. Incontrando il fascio luminoso di altre automobili o in condizioni di pioggia l'illuminazione si affievolisce moltissimo, risultando addirittura inferiore a prodotti meno performanti sulla carta. Queste lampadine ne sono esenti. CONTRO: - La scatolina prevista dalla Philips è molto robusta, ma una delle lampadine quando mi è arrivata non era più collocata nella sua sede, ma era a giro nella scatolina, e durante il viaggio avrà sicuramente preso delle botte. In ogni caso funziona ancora dopo più di 2 settimane dal montaggio a testimonianza della resistenza del filamento. Imballaggio e servizio di spedizione amazon impeccabile come sempre.

bulbs perform excellent. Bulbs were not sitting in the holders inside the packaging which can reduce function or break the item. Would suggest delicate handling of glass automotive lighting products. like maybe a fragile sticker.
