Great Trailer for a Great Price
We purchased our InStep Quick N EZ Bicyle Trailer (orange) for two reason: to get our 19 month old daughter out bicyling and also as a cargo trailer for weekend bike tours. Assembly was quick and easy. It basically comes in the form you break it back down to in order to travel: probably no more than 5 inches thick. The wheels snap easily into place and the upper roll bar pulls up and snaps into place. You snap the top on and velcro the bottom edges down. That was quick and easy. The hitch folds under the body for travel and swings out for use. The most challenging part of the set up is the bike connector. I use a road bike so I had to take out my rear skewer, add the connector and reassemble. That being done the trailer connects to bike fitting with a cotter pin and that's it. 3 of my boys joined me with our daughter for a 10 mile bike trail ride at a local college. We squeezed 5 bikes and the trailer into our Suburban with the rear seat down. We had bought a toddler bike helmet, that Erin did not take to very well. I strapped her in the trailer in the middle position. She looked a little concerned so I made some faces at her until she smiled. We put on the helmet, but it pushed forward over her face when she leaned back because it hit the seat back so we just took it off. I was concerned about pulling a trailer behind my road bike, but it is a good clean connection and pull. We had a very fun ride together our first time out. Erin fell asleep for part of it of course. We got a lot of smiles as we rode by. I have a tour planned for sometime in July with one of my boys. We'll pack it with a tent and supplies for three days riding and two nights camping. We're looking forward to that. I highly recommend this trailer. It's a nice looking trailer, it sets up and breaks down very easily, it is very affordable and has mutiple uses. If you are not in the market for a $400 plus bike trailer this will be a good fit for you.

Comfortable for 2 toddlers. Great trailer!
It's been 10 days since we bought this trailer, and it's been out on trails half a dozen times already. Some of its best features: - The trailer itself is fairly light and it rides quite smoothly. - It collapses rather beautifully, just like in the pictures. The wheels pop off and snap back on quite easily. We thought we would have to store it in the back all put together (since most of things that claim they collapse never collapse as nicely in our experience), but we don't have to. It fits in our hallway closet space, which isn't too spacious by any measure. - It was easy to put together even with little wee hands "helping" - The storage space is nice for coats and what not. It supposed to support something like 12 lb of storage, but it withstood my 1 year old climbing into it. He didn't stay in there too long and we likely won't let that happen again, but I'm glad it didn't cause it to just collapse on us. - It's an attractive little trailer (we got the orange one) - Stroller bar and wheel seems like a great idea. We haven't used it yet so we have nothing else to say about that, though. Now for a couple negative features: - It would have been nice if the cover was snapped down rather than velcroed. It doesn't sit as nicely as it could. - The space is on the snug side for two toddlers (one 3 yr old and one 1 year old), who both are on the small side for their ages (31 lb and 20 lb respectively). It's not crowded, but it's snug. We are quite satisfied. It will serve us quite well... at least until they get too big for it!

Excellent product. I highly recommend it.
Excellent. Very east to assemble. Folds to fits in the trunk of a small car. Baby/Toddler seems very happy and comfortable riding in it. I highly recommend this product. There were some problems with the delivery of this product. It did not arrive as schedule. When it arrived the box was badly damaged as though it was tossed out of an airplane then tossed down 1000 flight of stairs. So think about that if you are purchasing it as a gift for someone. But the packaging of the product was sell secure. The item was hardly damaged. One piece was dent. I took it to the local bike store to repair. It cost about $10. to repair it. However, Amazon said they will reimburse me for the cost. I didn't bother with the paper work. But it was nice of them to offer to reimburse the cost for the repair. It's good business practice. PS. I only utilized it with one child weighing less than 30 lbs. And because my baby is so young I only ride with her in the park or along the paved road near the river. Basically the ground surface is very smooth. So I do not know how comfortable baby would be riding inside of it on the street dealing with gravel, pot holes, etc. I assume baby will be safe because I am sure they tested the product out on different types of pavements but I only experienced using it on a smooth pavement. The only thing that might be a problem is the storage space. It is very small and can not hold a lot of weight. for example I think it can only hold a diaper bag. But I do not think you can go grocery shopping or run similar errands and store groceries etc in the storage area. The storage area can possibly hold 1 or 2 diaper bag, cell phone and glasses. Overall, this product is awesome. A great investment. I am able to get in shape while baby is happy enjoying nature and views of city life. Great purchase. I highly recommend it. I hope you found my review helpful.

Just Right
I researched this purchase alot and I found the reviews to be helpful so I will add my insights. I have many years of biking experience and am a former bike mechanic. I would have recomended this trailer to my old customers. The trailer is well made. The welds are very good and the canopy fits tightly. You do need to adjust some straps to get it to fit spot-on but that's to be expected. This trailer is light and easy to fold up and store as well as unfold and get ready. The process to go from folded to ready to roll is about 4 minutes. The trailer is self explanitory so you don't need to haul the directions around to get it set up. The bike hook up is easy, however you need to balance the bike upright to do the hook up. Not a big deal and once the coupling is complete you can lay the bike down. I have two kids who will use the trailer. They are a tight fit inside as I expected. They are comfortable; they have good leg room and a spot for each of them to have cups etc. There is ample room behind them for storage too. The saftey straps are a real bugger. They are not a fastex buckle as you would expect. They are a snap-hook and a "D" ring hook for the shoulder straps. This is ok going on and a pain getting off. Not horrid but really annoying. The trailer tracks the bike very well. It does change the geometry of the bike though; so it will take some getting used to. The added weight really is a good workout. I have kept the speed down. I don't want to really be moving and need to do a quick manuver with it. You do need to be careful about clearance though. Keep in mind your footprint is three times larger than without the trailer. I have been sticking to pavement for now. I want to get my daughters comfortable with it before I go to dirt roads. I will have to do some adjusting of the tire pressure for off road so they don't bounce to death. Over all for the price you are getting more than your moneys worth. I will add to this review if I have an issue down the road. ************* Update 7/18/07. We have around 200 miles on the trailer. So far there have been two issues. The first is with the front wheel you use when using the trailer as a stroller. My wife used it twice and noticed one of the wheels was tilted.-The amazon picture shows one front wheel, there are actually two side-by-side- It ended up being more than tilted the axle was bent badly. I called InStep and they shipped a replacment out very quickly. I would really caution you not to load this up and use it as a stroller...the front wheel just can't handle it. The second issue is a trivial one yet it is an area that a design change could be made. The floor of the trailer is fabric. When rolling your child needs to keep their feet on the front frame bar. If they do not they can push the fabric down so it rubs along the ground. My daughter did this for a short trip and one area is now very worn. It would not take long to get a hole. A plastic tray or a rub pad on the bottom could solve this. So far asking them to keep their feet on the bar has sufficed....just keep it in mind. I would rate this as my best buy of the year and one I wish I done three years ago. I'll update this again if an issue crops up.

Awesome trailer for the money, WARNING in the heat, keep a tablet in the back.
Shipping/Packaging: Shipping/Packaging: This product arrived quickly as always via Amazon Prime in a brown amazon sealed box. Setup: Easy, Pull up the sides, latch the cross bar, plug in the wheels...Done. Attached hitch assembly to wife's bike with minimal effort. Slide male end into female end, drop in the latching hitch pin, toss the kids in the back, and off they went. Whole setup took less than 5 minutes with tools on hand before starting (for the bike). Use: Wife and kids love it. 100 miles of use and going strong. Difficult to pull the kids (one 40lb 4 year old, one 25 lb one year old) on steep inclines especially with my single speed. My fault for being weak, not the product's. It seems well built and no signs of damage so far. The wife loves the stroller function (for when the 4 year old gets lazy) as it folds easy and packs nicely into the car. She has stopped packing the regular stroller. Though it is slightly heavy for her to lift. WARNING, hot days turn the thing into a sauna if the wind screen and rain cover are on. Kids love riding in the back for short rides but find it boring after a while on the longer ones and start smacking each other on the helmets and whining. A tablet in the back helps if your looking to go a distance or exercise. I purchased this Item for my own needs with my own money and received absolutely NO incentive for this review, though if someone wants to send me some free stuff to keep I'd love to review it (hint, hint). I will update this posting if I run into any problems.

Great for kids on beach trip
We have a 17 month old and nearly 4 year old and this worked great for our beach trip...for beach use I liked the plastic wheels, less to corode..liked that I could pop on the wheel and make into a stroller very easily - some of the other trailers did not have this option. also the mechanism for attaching all 3 wheels is fantastic, pop right on - click in - and done...my brother has a similar trailer bought at walmart and it requires inserting a pin behind the wheel and a cotter pin...a bit annoying. Also the snaps to attach the cover were alot better than the one my brother had, which used all velcro...ours seems sturdy and was just easier to get all together. whole thing folds up pretty nice and flat and was happy with ease of deployment and break down and storage - this is important when dealing with the hussle and bussel of kids! My advice is to get some good anti-corrosion spray like corrosion X or boeshield T9 and spray all small metal parts of this product twice a year and you will have something to keep a long while and hand down. Even when the kids grow up, this will be a beach necessity as you can load it up with your gear....which is what we did for our recent trip...borrowed my brothers WM version (forget the name of the brand he got) and we would put kids in one pull behind one bike, and beach equipment in the other...we put the beach equipment in our new one as we could just push it up the boardwalk to the beach and then right onto the beach..so great! We will hopefully use this product for a while...this is summer 2014...if I encounter problems I will update this review. PS - dont leave the small wheel on when towing behind bike...I did this and took a sharp turn and it hit the ground, no harm but it could have...if you are on very flat ground and no sharp turns it may not hit ground at all depending on your bike setup I guess....just dont do that...no biggie..

Worth every penny
This is not my first wagon of this style. This is my first absolutely parent friendly, family friendly wagon/bike trailer/ stroller. It is a really wonderful quality, beautiful in color and I absolutely love the space for not only the kiddos but the space behind their seats for your stuff! It is simple to assemble! It is 100% worth the price. It strolls smoothly and is durable for your family's outdoor adventures!

Quick and EZ for real
InStep Quick N EZ Double Bicycle Trailer After a long search i settled on the Quick N EZ Double Bicycle Trailer from InStep. Packaging was good. Assembly took me around 20 minutes as most of the trailer is pre assembled. No assembly tool required. We just need to lift up the side rails, slide in the tires, bring the tow forward. Installing the connector on the bike took another 10 minutes. I have Shwinn S25.The only thing missing on my trailer was the desired psi of the tires as they come deflated. As per the manual there should be psi ratings on the tires side. I guess the sticker was missing on the ones that i got. Anyways, i just went online and looked at the various instep manuals. Desired air pressure on the tires is 20-25psi and 25psi is recommended for a smooth ride. After i assembled i took it for a ride with my son (he is 27 months old). Pulling this trailer is easy and smooth. Since its double trailer, it has three seat belt options. If you are riding with one kid, you have to use the one in the center. If you have two kids in the trailer, you can use the two side seat-belts which really helps to balance the trailer. It comes with a handle bar and front tire attachment to use it as a jogging stroller. Its a good option, especially with the brake system but i don't need it at present. I will rate this trailer 5 stars because of strong build and quality.

Buy it, you shouldn't be disappointed
Exactly as expected. Easily assembled. We use it more as a stroller than a bike trailer but it works well there too. I colapses fairly easily to fit in the back of our pick up. Haven't tried the SUV yet.
