Quality Cable That Outperforms Cheap Cords
This cable impressed me right away. It charges quickly, transfers files fast, and feels much sturdier than the bargain cables that fail after a few months. The connectors fit securely without being loose, and the 3 foot length is perfect for my desk, car, or nightstand without extra clutter. It stays flexible, works consistently, and gives that reliable feel you notice immediately. If you are tired of replacing cheap cords, this is the kind of cable worth buying once.

Did not function as advertised
I found that this cable did not work for my purposes. I needed a 3.0 cable (USB-A) to run from my Magewell video processor directly to my Dell XPS laptop (USB-C) without an additional USB adapter. The connection needs to be at 3.0 speeds, but with this cable, the laptop wouldn't even recognize the device. My other 3.0 speed cables (USB-A to USB-A) have worked just fine with the use of a USB adapter.

Solid, well-made cable!
You usually can't go wrong with StarTech.com products, and this cable is no exception. It's much thicker than the Sausung OEM cable that came with my Galaxy S8. Hopefully that's due to better shielding and/or thicker conductors... When you coil the cable up it tends to bend in nice sweeping curves, as opposed to the tight kinky bends that the OEM cable is capable of. And because this cable is thicker than the OEM cable, it can't be coiled as tightly. These are both pluses in my opinion. If you are looking for a cable for a semi-permanent connection to something like an external hard drive then this would be a great choice for that purpose. My Galaxy S8 confirms that the cable supports Fast Charging. However this is locked-down corporate phone that doesn't allow data transfers, so I can't tell whether or not this cable actually supports data, or at what speed. FWIW, at StarTech.com it's described as "USB 3.1 Gen 2 - 10 Gbit/s".

Really works to charge and enable iTune backups and syncs for the new USB-C port Apple iPad Pro 12" and 11" models. If charging doesn't work at first change the wall adapter.

Il cavo ha una velocità adeguata allo standard usb 3.1, ha raggiunto una velocità di 700 MB/s con il box esterno per SSD NVMe, lo stesso box raggiunge 0,93 GB/s solo con il cavo thunderbolt/ usb-c originale lungo solo 40 cm, questo cavo essendo più del doppio lungo è ottimo.
