Fairly straightforward and simple to install. There are little backing plates that go between the set screws and rubber shim. They like to walk when you are tightening the set screws and if you aren't careful they will pop out and you will be tightening the set screws against your windshield, which is a new bueno situation. Aside from that it's easy peasy. It made a huge difference for me but it's fairly heavy (for what it is) and my windshield is tall and not particularly stiff, so it led to a lot of bouncing and flexing. Ultimately I returned, not because it was a bad product but because it didn't work well with my windshield (Givi windscreen on a 2001 f650gs). If you have a shorter and/or more rigid windscreen this will probably work well for you. I docked it a star because optically it wasn't great, if you are going to be looking through it normally while riding you'll be disappointed, it also had an internal flaw that created a dark spot. For me it was just below eye level when riding so it wasn't a big deal, but just be aware you won't want to be looking through it while riding.

I got an oscillation at speed that would probably have broken the mounting bolts & windscreen that it was attached to. The weight of the mount and wind deflector is in the middle of the attached windscreen. The added wind causes vibration on the whole assembly. Might work at slower speeds and shorter windscreens. I installed on a Honda PCX 150 windscreen and I could see an eventual failure with the oscillation.

I think it’s a good value for the money. I noticed there’s a scratch on the left side of the windshield about 2” long. I will try to repair it somehow since I need it right away. Otherwise from what I have seen it’s worth the money and with Amazon excellent no superb service and I would not hesitate to order another product which will shortly be forthcoming. Does definitely block the wind, mounted on spitfire windshield… does it’s job but 30% distorted warped view. For the price not bad… tested at about 75 mph.
