The "perfect" field use tripod for my Yaesu ATAS-120A self-adjusting antenna!
I purchased a Yaesu antenna, an ATAS-120A, and use this tripod to put it up POTA, when out in the field, or when camping. The tripod works great! (I love the storage case to carry it). I did have to modify the antenna connector it came with ... it was apparently for a "hot stick" style antenna, like the CB antennas. But I removed that and put in a PL-259/SO-239 adapter and it works great! I'll be using this for a long time to come.

Super Antenna Tripod
In my opinion I think this is a must if you own the super one antenna. In my opinion I think this is a must if you own the super one antenna . As you know the super one requires ground radials And this makes it a little easier to see. During field day this perhaps could save from someone from stepping on your antenna and it gets it off the ground. If you go camping this will add an additional pound or two but I think it would be worth the additional wait to have it. It comes in a black carting bag with handle and zipper. I will be able to use this tripod with either Chamaeleon Or Alex Loop Antenna. I hope you are as satisfied as I am .

Cheap materials
After setting it up, I’m just not impressed. This appears to be a cheap photographic tripod, reworked for the purpose of suspending an antenna. That might be OK, except that cameras don’t extend many feet above the tripod head. For camera use, it would be fine. For antenna use, it’s very unstable. Adding a weight to the hook does help, but a breeze will still knock this assembly over, damaging the antenna and perhaps the tripod. The parts are plastic where they should be metal. There are rivets where there should be bolts. All in, it’s $160 for a $25 tripod. The included UM3 supermount is nice, though.

Great tripod for multiple antenna systems
Great upgrade for the MP1DXMAXX, and can be used with other antennas as well. I'm using mine as the base for a CHA Hybrid Micro / CHA MIL / CHA EXT setup right now (~17'4"). Getting that vertical setup about 5-6' off the ground seems to work better than using a spike mount. The stability that can be gained by hanging your antenna bag or other weight from the hook is a serious plus in windy conditions.

Tripod is very cheaply made.
This company has good products, but thus tripod was very cheaply made, had dings in the paint. They use rivets were bolts and nuts should be used and a part was missing from the shipment. Also the company doesn’t seem to have a store front presence on the web where you can call to ask questions about the products. So I’m only giving them a 3. I will still buy their antennas, just not the tripod for $169 not even worth $10. They should offer a good quality carbon fiber. I’d pay more for that but not this poor quality.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY
The crank handle to raise the tripod, is cheap plastic. It broke off the FIRST time I pulled it out to use it! CRAP.

If you like taking your rig outdoors an need a quick way to put up an antenna this is it!
This is what I have been looking for. I just got a new vertical antenna from Wolfriver coils (model TIA) and I wanted to get it up off the ground. Plus it's easier for me to adjust the antennas (I'm in a power chair) swr. I also want to thank Gary from Wolfriver coils for his help.

Poor materials
Pictures make it look strong and sturdy when in reality it’s not. Will likely have to purchase something in a year or so because something is likely to snap of or break.
