Well made, perfect size, heavy enough for my half umbrella. The umbrella is behind my 2-seated glider in front of my patio window. There’s but a tiny wobble because it’s almost free-standing. Let’s face it, top & bottom heavy, there’s nothing in the middle to stabilize it during heavy winds. It’s not the manufacturers fault, but a matter of weight distribution. In the position it is in, I get maximum support with maximum sun protection. Quality umbrella base at a great price

I selected this half round base to use with a 9 ft half patio umbrella (same brand). It might be half round in design, but it is fully functional and GREAT for my umbrella. This is the first half-umbrella set up that I ever tried, so I selected this half base - I think it is awesome! The horizontal part of the base has a pretty design, and the vertical tube section, that holds the pole upright, actually screws into the base (not using a nut and bolt). My umbrella has a 1.5 in diameter pole, which is a nice fit and is secured with a tightening knob (screw). The base will easily work placed closer to the exterior wall, but in my case, I had an light fixture in the way of my umbrella. I own a full size base that I could make work, but this is definitely the best choice. Perfect for the half umbrella!

Very sturdy

It is good for tight spaces. We wanted some shade but the area for the umbrella does not allow much space for a full size stand. This works but make sure the umbrella is tightly or it can tip.

Update: the pole that holds the umbrella just keeps loosening. I’m going to have to discard this base altogether and get a different one. It may be better suited in climates that don’t get much wind. The umbrella stand constantly loosens and no way to tighten except to keep screwing pole holder into base, and if you tighten too much, it will loosen back up. It’s pretty but the one I received isn’t stable or functional if bumped or windy.

I needed an good quality half-round umbrella stand to place in a particular spot. Not some cheap plastic thing you fill with water or sand. This item worked perfectly! Heavy base so it won't tip over, secures the umbrella like it should, and looks great.

This stand is for a very lightweight umbrella it’s very wobbly it’s a very although very pretty.

Great product and great quality as expected

It works well enough with shims. No matter how much I tighten it, with the umbrella in place, it leans forward from the post, a significant amount. I can see the movement between the post and the base.

Great outdoor umbrella base. Not too heavy, easy to move.
