Challenging but fun
The instruction are the most challenging part. The pictures somtimes are not clear on where you are putting things and there is very little text. TIP: Make sure you don't put the battery compartment in backwards like I did. Hard to correct. The wires end go on the side without the screw. So you can pull it out to change. Works though. My cats hate it.

Works, but directions are hard
The media could not be loaded. First of all, do not buy this unless you're prepared to be HEAVILY involved as the grownup helper. It says age 8+, but that is really for playing with and not building, IMO. The directions are kind of crappy–small print and illustrations that are often unclear. Make sure you are super careful about reading the tiny numbers and letters on the pieces; they really do matter. :P Also, if you care whether or not you get the remote version or the one with motion sensor, be super careful in ordering. I feel like the remote aspect was advertised but we got the motion sensor one. Not a big deal at all, but something to pay attention to.That said, we were successful in putting it together and it does actually work pretty well. My 9yo son is super stoked.
