Are these like a heavy real marble or light plastic marble?

heavy as light plastic would not roll properly, they are very well made.

Is this an easier or simpler game of Go?

This isn't go. Abalone is much easier to play.

The board and marbles and plastic but the box and instructions are made of cardboard and paper. It is not recommended to play it in water.
