Simple enough: I used this trowel to dig out over 100 square feet of well-established ivy and it was just as sharp and sturdy when I finished as it was when I started. Its weight, size, and design make it highly effective for a wide range of gardening jobs and the handle is comfortable and easy to hold for long periods of work. Highest recommendation for this product, and the sturdy sheath included with the trowel is a nice bonus for such a sharp, substanstial tool.

This is a fantastic trowel. It fits well in the hand, is well made of heavy-duty materials and cuts through even the heaviest clay soil. I used it for two days to remove patches of nut sedge that had become established in my lawn and put it through some pretty tough work and it still looks and works like new. If you've ever bent a trowel, as I have, you'll appreciate the strength of this one - you'll bend before it does. Nice and sharp at the leading edge and just the right size for the majority of gardening tasks that require a hand trowel. I will use this often. Recommended.

LOVE this spade. I spent years with dollar tree spades & finally decided after my last one bent out of recognition to go with a sturdier one- oh it makes gardening even more enjoyable! :) I do keep it away from my children because it has VERY sharp edges.

This is heavy duty enough and sharp enough that I can break through areas of hardened soil and create the perfect hole for planting. Works great if you want to just remove a few potatoes at a time and let the plant keep growing too. Many uses and it’s up to all that I’ve used it for so far

Remarkably tough steel even on a shallow bevel blade. Dug through embedded gravel, an ancient surface ground cover of lave rock, now deep in the soil. The blade didn't get chipped or dinged. Exerts the pressure of a shark tooth on the point, I'm convinced. Rugged, heavy, easy to hold.

This garden shovel is well made and seems to be strong enough to do what I need. It is very sharp which is good, but it is also a bit narrower than most of my garden spades were. This hampers my scooping up much material and I find myself using a second hand shovel to pick up more dirt each time. It is great for cutting through roots and things like that, but not great for shoveling potting soil out of the bag if that makes sense. Recommend this shovel as it works well for digging and cutting through weed block, etc.
