Love this rug - natural wool, thick enough to feel good but does need a nice rug pad underneath. I purchased the grey and it's very light and mutated, w/more neutral warm tone.rug is light enough to shake outside!

I love this rug...I looked at it for a long time before purchasing. In person, the beige color is a light tan, not cream as it looked on my computer screen. It still works in the intended space. It is soft to walk on, I placed it over wall to wall carpet in my guest bedroom. The rug was packaged exceedingly well and I have had no issues with the rug flattening out. It was perfectly flat hours after arriving. No chemical smells came from the rug, only the wool-lanolin smell of 100% wool fiber. I cannot speak to ease of cleaning, as I have not had to yet. I am happy with my purchase.Update: July 3, 2021After having this plush rug for over three months, I have a few comments to add. Initially, because it was in a very low traffic area, I did not notice much shedding. Now that there has been more activity in the room, I often find strands or small balls of wool in other parts of the house. I vacuum it regularly (without the beater) to collect the stray fibers that are very noticeable on my dark terra cotta tile floors. I am hoping that over time, the shedding will lessen. Even with the extra care, I am still enjoying the rug . My friends and family love the feeling of it underfoot. I am considering getting another for my living room.

Sheds a lot. Smaller than listed size

It is not long and fluffy sheep hair, it is made with strands of wool yarn about 2 inches long. It is a painstakingly woven rug that must have taken a bit of time to complete - each strand of "sheep fur" (wool) is pulled through and knotted by hand. I love how it feels underfoot, it is just what I wanted to have to pace around on in my tile-floor walk-in closet.

Pile height is okay but the density is poor. You can see the backing when you step on it. I might look for a better quality rug at a higher price. Too bad the color and size are perfect.

Really soft and plush with a warm ivory color. It sheds like all wool rugs but a rubber / Dutch broom takes care of the first round of shedding. It also needs a rug pad in order to prevent slipping on your hard surface floor. Highly recommend brushing it out with a Dutch broom as soon as you get it.

Beautiful rug. Soft under your feet, less soft to touch with hands, but not scratchy.
