Car Mount, Black

The window mount is like all other suction cup mounts in that it will fall off in extreme heat. I use the Vent clip and it works EXTREMELY well (also counting on the fact that the make and model of automobile has vents in efficient locations). I did have an issue with the foam padding in the phone mount come loose, but a little silicone added to the back of the foam and attached that back on and it works like a champ from there.

Assembly was simple, though the holder did require a good amount of pressure to make it snap into the base -- may have helped if I read the instructions. Installed suction cup onto windshield (again without cracking the instructions or prepping the area) and it hasn't fell off yet.Didn't used the vent clip, but it did make a nice swish sound as it entered the trash can -- nothing but bag!Update 21-Dec-42014: Have owned this since mid-October 2014 and have had no issues. The suction cup has stayed secured to the windshield and does not appear to be loosening it grip whatsoever.

I bought two of these, one for me, one for the wife, since I had an earlier model but after a year or so the suction cup got brittle from the sun. So the new models have a very stiff arm and a weak plastic connector at the base of the suction cup. the first one I installed broke the first day of use and I returned it for a refund, but not before the coverage I purchased told me that breaking it (even though it's a cheap and defective POS) isn't covered..so I returned it directly to Amazon after telling off the third party coverage provider (foursquare by Allstate, should have known)...now, using my wife's..it worked for a week, and then, same thing, base of the suction cup snapped off with a very slight adjustment to the phone so I could see it better. now out of window for return. the a/c vent mount is impossible to use (and there are no included directions anyways)...don't buy this, it's a piece of junk, they aren't testing this sufficiently, and the 3rd party insurance coverage is an even bigger joke.

2nd one I have bought.. got this one for a friend..I use mine almost everyday while driving.. works good.though suction cup sometimes releases..

I just wanted to put it on the vent and not use the suction cup, it works well for me that way.

Not the best car mount but functional. I ended up returning it.

This mount secures even my large iPhone nicely. Rotation is easy and it sticks to the windshield very well. It's very secure as long as you don't mind getting removable sticky substance on your windshield.

Good quality and suction works just fine. Very adjustable and can customize the position. Better than the vent phone holders. I bought two of them.
